德国功能主义理论在英文商务合同翻译中的适用性

　　本文从宏观方面和微观方面论证了功能主义在英文商务合同翻译中的适用性。宏观方面从功能主义的角度分析了商务合同的功能、文本类型、翻译目的、翻译行为、翻译原则以及译者的忠诚,指出英文商务合同具有提供信息和规范行为的双重功能,英文商务合同翻译的目的是产生与原英文商务合同相同功能的中文文本,以对中国读者产生同等效力以保证交易的顺利进行,翻译行为包含跨文化的活动,关于翻译原则,指出其“目的法则”能为商务合同汉译的译者提供总的指导方向,“忠实性法则”和“连贯性法则”能为译者提供指导原则,“忠诚原则”为译者提供了应当遵从的职业伦理准则。以功能主义理论为指导,微观方面从英文商务合同的词法、句法以及篇章方面结合各自的语言特点论证了功能主义在英文商务合同翻译中的适用性并提出翻译方法。最后总结得出,通过宏观层面的目的、功能和微观层面的语言特征相结合,英文商务合同翻译的交际目的可以顺利实现。
