目的论视角下《公共管理案例》中中国特色词汇翻译

【摘要】：笔者参加《公共管理案例》翻译项目,负责20000字数的中译英翻译。本文对文本中的中国特色词汇进行分析,并在目的论指导下总结中国特色词汇翻译方法。在参加《公共管理案例》翻译项目的过程中,笔者通过文本分析发现文本中的中国特色词汇翻译是个难点也是关键。笔者参考邢杰、甘露对中国特色词汇研究,将文本中的中国特色词汇分为三类:经济社会现象词汇,制度政策词汇以及习语谚语。在翻译过程中,译文的忠实程度和形式一定程度取决于目的,并在一定程度上忠实原文。笔者以目的论为指导,发现目的论三原则(目的原则、连贯原则和忠实原则)对公共管理案例中的中国特色词汇的翻译具有指导作用,通过对译文的分析,总结了不同翻译原则下所采用的翻译方法:直译,音译,意译,直译加解释,音译加解释以及文化替代等翻译方法,尽可能实现忠实原文、语内连贯。
[Abstract]:The author participates in the Public Administration case Translation Project and is responsible for translating 20000 words into Chinese and English. Under the guidance of Skopos theory, this paper analyzes the Chinese characteristic words in the text and summarizes the translation methods of Chinese characteristic words. In the process of participating in the translation project of Public Management case, the author finds that the translation of Chinese characteristic words in the text is a difficult and key point through text analysis. The author refers to Xing Jie and Mannu's study of Chinese characteristic words and classifies them into three categories: economic and social phenomenon vocabulary, institutional policy vocabulary and idiom proverbs. In the process of translation, the fidelity and form of the translation depend on the purpose and the original text to a certain extent. Under the guidance of Skopos theory, the author finds that the three principles of Skopos (Skopos principle, coherence principle and faithfulness principle) play a guiding role in the translation of words with Chinese characteristics in public management cases. This paper summarizes the translation methods adopted under different translation principles: literal translation, transliteration, free translation, literal translation plus interpretation, transliteration plus interpretation and cultural substitution.
