桐城传人与文苑列传

【摘要】：清史《文苑传》对桐城派的记载是该派学术地位的重要表现,但从未得到系统研究。文章基于台北"故宫博物院"藏清《钦定国史文苑传》钞本,研究清廷国史《文苑传》第一次稿对桐城古文的记载。该书记载了8位以古文著称的学者,书写了一条清代"古文"发展的线索,而桐城学者占据了古文记载的重要地位。《钦定国史文苑传》的古文论述迎合了清廷"崇程朱、重学术、好淳正"的文体偏好,同时因总纂官陈用光系桐城派传人,他将桐城派骨干人物作为正统写入了国史,其诸多观念体现于桐城古文的记载。某种意义上,《钦定国史文苑传》对桐城文派形象的塑造是桐城派后学的"夫子自道",应当引起重视。桐城派在清史《文苑传》中被认定为古文正统,而且桐城派的传人掌握了纂述的权力,这是桐城派的古文正统地位的一个说明。
[Abstract]:The record of Tongcheng School is an important manifestation of its academic status, but it has never been systematically studied. The article is based on the "the Palace Museum" in Taipei. The first manuscript of the History of the Qing Dynasty recorded the ancient prose of Tongcheng. The book recorded eight scholars who were famous for their ancient prose and wrote a clue to the development of the ancient prose in the Qing Dynasty. Tongcheng scholars occupied an important position in the ancient literature records. The ancient writings in the Biography of the Imperial History of the people's Republic of China catered to the style preference of the Qing Dynasty for "worshipping Cheng Zhu, attaching great importance to scholarship, and being honest and upright". At the same time, because the chief editor Chen Yanguang was a descendant of Tongcheng School, he wrote the backbone figures of Tongcheng School into the history of China as orthodoxy, and many of his ideas were reflected in the records of Tongcheng ancient prose in a certain sense. The portrayal of Tongcheng literary school image is the "master's way" of Tongcheng school, which should be paid attention to. Tongcheng school is regarded as the orthodoxy of ancient prose in the Qing Dynasty history "Wen Yuan Biography". Moreover, the patriarch of Tongcheng School had the power of writing, which was an explanation of the orthodox position of Tongcheng School.
