新批评视野中的叶嘉莹诗论研究

【摘要】:叶嘉莹教授作为享誉中外的中国古典诗词研究专家,创造性的吸收了西方现代文学理论,立足于中国传统文论,对中国古典诗词进行阐释和批评,基于新批评理论形成了独有的具有创造性特色的诗论体系。本文基于叶嘉莹诗词理论的研究现状,在对其学术著作宏观把握的前提下,从新批评视野出发,探讨叶嘉莹如何在西方现代文艺理论的观照下及中国传统文学批评传统中研究中国古典诗词,分析并总结叶嘉莹先生在跨文化比较视野中所形成的理论及实践,并在叶嘉莹学术思想历程中挖掘其对传统文学批评的反思及超越,并总结叶嘉莹在新批评理论的影响下所形成的诗论思想,探讨叶嘉莹诗论思想对中国古典诗论的贡献。叶嘉莹在新批评理论的影响下,如“细读法”、“张力论”及修辞学等,形成了以“兴发感动说”为核心的诗词诠释体系,并以词史分化为脉络挖掘出词之“要眇宜修”、“弱德之美”等特质,并形成了感性与知性相结合、知人论世等诗论思想,对中国传统诗论而言,有了更为理性富有逻辑的拓展。叶嘉莹在论及古诗时,讲求知人论世,从其历史背景、为人处世、思想性格及天时地利人和等因素入手,并善于探究诗人的性格、思想内容、艺术风格等,从以意逆志方面来寻觅古诗词之韵味。同样又对诗歌究根溯源,来寻求演变之迹,通古今之变,在挖掘诗词生生不息的力量的同时又给新诗创作提供可借鉴之路。较之传统诗论而言,叶嘉莹诗论最为突出的就是通中西文学批评,各取所长来论及中国古典诗词,既保留了中国传统诗词中象喻之言及简约之语,又运用西方善于思辨剖析之长,以思辨融意会,在抽丝剥茧中使读者有豁然开朗之境界,祛除中国古典诗论中模糊神妙所带来的弊端,在拨云见日中评议中国古典诗词。叶嘉莹毕生致力于中国古典诗词的研究,对中国古典诗词的精细把握、对中国传统文论的详尽分析和对西方现代文艺理论的娴熟运用已达到中西融汇古今贯通的境界,使得中国古典诗词异彩焕发,既打通了中西方诗学理论的隔阂,又开拓了古今诗论的新道路,为当代诗词理论的发展提供了诸多的现实可能性。
[Abstract]:Professor Ye Jiaying, as a renowned expert in the study of Chinese classical poetry at home and abroad, has creatively absorbed the western modern literary theory, based on Chinese traditional literary theory, and interpreted and criticized Chinese classical poetry. Based on the new criticism theory, a unique poetic system with creative characteristics has been formed. Based on the current research situation of Ye Jiaying's theory of poetry, and on the premise of grasping his academic works macroscopically, this paper sets out from a new critical perspective. This paper probes into how Ye Jiaying studies Chinese classical poetry in the light of western modern literary theories and the tradition of Chinese traditional literary criticism, and analyzes and summarizes the theory and practice formed by Mr. Ye Jiaying from the perspective of cross-cultural comparison. In the course of Ye Jiaying's academic thought, he explores his reflection and transcendence of traditional literary criticism, sums up the poetic thoughts formed by Ye Jiaying under the influence of the new critical theory, and probes into the contribution of Ye Jiaying's poetics to Chinese classical poetics. Under the influence of the new critical theory, such as "the method of careful reading", "tension theory" and rhetoric, Ye Jiaying formed a system of interpretation of poetry with the core of "Xingfa moving Theory". The characteristics of "beauty of weak morality", and the combination of sensibility and understanding, and the thought of "knowing people and discussing the world", have developed more rationally and logically for Chinese traditional poetics. When talking about ancient poetry, Ye Jiaying emphasizes on knowing people and discussing the world, starting with its historical background, people's attitude, ideological character, favorable geographical location and people's harmony, and is good at exploring the poet's character, ideological content, artistic style and so on. Looking for the charm of ancient poetry from the aspect of opposing will with meaning. At the same time, we trace the source of poetry to seek the trace of evolution, make use of the changes of ancient and modern times, while excavating the endless power of poetry, and at the same time provide a reference way for the creation of new poetry. Compared with the traditional poetic theory, Ye Jiaying's poetical theory is the most outstanding one, which is to pass through the Chinese and Western literary criticism, each to discuss the classical Chinese poetry, which not only preserves the words of figurative and simple in the traditional Chinese poetry. Using the strong points of thinking and analysis in the west, making readers have a bright state in drawing silk and cocoon, expelling the malpractice brought by obscurity in the theory of Chinese classical poetry, and commenting on Chinese classical poetry in the light of the clouds. Ye Jiaying devoted his life to the study of Chinese classical poetry, to the fine grasp of Chinese classical poetry, to the detailed analysis of Chinese traditional literary theory and to the skilful application of western modern literary theories, which has reached the state of integrating Chinese and Western ancient and modern literature and art. It not only opens up the estrangement of Chinese and Western poetics, but also opens up a new way of poetry theory, which provides many realistic possibilities for the development of contemporary poetry theory.
