论五四时期的“大学叙事”小说

【摘要】：五四前后,现代大学在社会动荡和文化转型中呈现出诸多芜杂气象。大学作为一个"有意味"的叙事空间,一开始便进入了现代作家的文学视野。以现代大学及其知识分子为表现对象的大学叙事小说,在新文学草创时期的各类题材中独树一帜。五四作家在描写大学人物、叙述大学经验时,一方面真实地反映了寒门学子的生活艰辛、大学生的就业难题以及教授们的不满情绪,另一方面也生动地书写了校园内情投意合的友谊、青春萌动的爱情乃至惺惺相惜的同性恋情。新旧转型时期大学的艰窘现实和浪漫诗意,有其特定的时代性因素,既肇因于民生多艰的社会现实,也不乏转型过程中的制度性原因。值得注意的是,传统传道、授业、解惑的正面"师者"形象,几乎缺席于启蒙文化语境下的大学叙事,而勤学、善思、正直的青年学生则更多地表征了现代大学的精神气质。
[Abstract]:Before and after the May 4th Movement, modern universities in the social unrest and cultural transformation showed a lot of mixed weather. As a "meaningful" narrative space, university has entered the literary field of modern writers from the beginning. The novel of university narration, which takes modern university and its intellectuals as its object, is unique among all kinds of subjects in the period of the creation of new literature. In describing university figures and university experiences, May 4th writers, on the one hand, truly reflect the hardships of life for students of cold studies, the employment problems of college students, and the dissatisfaction of professors. On the other hand, it vividly describes the campus friendship, youthful love and homophobia. The embarrassed reality and romantic poetry of the universities in the new and old transition period have their specific epochal factors, which are caused not only by the social reality of the people's livelihood, but also by the institutional reasons in the process of transformation. It is worth noting that the positive "teacher" image of traditional preaching, teaching and puzzling is almost absent from the narration of the university in the context of enlightenment culture, while the diligent, thoughtful and upright young students are more likely to express the spiritual temperament of modern universities.
