明代城市砖石城墙修筑的时空过程

【摘要】：明以前中国南北地区的筑城方式存在差异,东南地区的城市多修筑砖石城墙,北方地区的城市多筑夯土城墙。明初砖石城墙的分布范围大规模扩散,与明军的筑城习惯和战争进程密切相关。明代中后期大规模建造砖石城墙的活动,与边疆和内地屡次爆发的战乱有关。以往将明代城市大量修筑砖石城墙的原因归结于火器使用的看法,是一种较为片面的解释。
[Abstract]:Before the Ming Dynasty, there were differences in the ways of building cities in the north and south of China. Cities in southeast China built more masonry walls, cities in the north built rammed earth walls. The spread of masonry walls in the early Ming Dynasty was closely related to the customs of the Ming army and the war process. The large-scale construction of masonry walls in the mid-and late Ming Dynasty was related to the frequent wars in the border areas and the interior. In the past, it was a one-sided explanation that the reason of building masonry walls in Ming Dynasty was attributed to the use of firearms.
