个案研究的分类及其在教育研究中的应用现状评析

【摘要】：作为一种学术研究方法,从研究目的的角度,可以将个案研究可以分为三种类型:探索性个案、证伪性个案和外推性个案研究。探索性个案和证伪性个案研究不涉及样本代表性问题,也无所谓外推逻辑;外推性个案研究的个案样本应具有类型代表性,在结论外推时需要遵循比较原则。从个案数量的角度,还可以将个案研究分为单一和多重个案研究,其中,外推性个案研究要求多重个案的选择时遵循"差异最大化"原则。以CSSCI教育学类Top10刊物中所刊载的个案研究论文为例,可以发现一些误用的现象,例如,将案例总结当作个案研究,将个案研究当作抽样失误的"遮羞布"和"挡箭牌",主观泛化个案研究结论的适用范围,在多重个案研究中选择的个案缺少差异性。
[Abstract]:As an academic research method, case studies can be divided into three types: exploratory case, false case and extrapolated case study. Exploratory case and false case study do not involve sample representativeness and there is no extrapolation logic. The extrapolation case study case sample should be representative of type and should follow the principle of comparison when extrapolating conclusion. From the perspective of the number of cases, the case study can also be divided into single and multiple case studies, in which extrapolation case studies require the choice of multiple cases to follow the principle of "maximization of differences". Taking the case study papers published in the Top10 journal of CSSCI pedagogy as an example, some misuse can be found, for example, the case summary is regarded as a case study. Taking the case study as a "mask" and a "shield" for sampling mistakes, the scope of application of the conclusion of the case study is generalized subjectively, and the case selected in the multi-case study lacks the difference.
