文化教学在高中英语课堂中的运用

【摘要】：众所周知,学习一门语言,离不开对这门语言文化背景的了解,文化教学是语言教学中不可分割的部分。新课改背景下的英语教学一直是讨论的热点,它要求教师在语言教学中渗透对学生文化意识的培养,其目的在于让学生在掌握语言的同时能够有效地进行跨文化交际,而非单一地开展词汇语法的训练。当前高中英语课堂的常见教学模式是以培养学生语言技能为主,在题海战术中寻求学生对语言知识的不断重复与记忆,形成学生机械的语言学习模式,久而久之将限制学生语言能力的培养和发展。本文从语言、文化、语言与文化的关系以及语言教学与文化教学为起点,通过查阅大量文献作为研究的理论基础,探讨在新课改实施以来高中教师在英语课堂中对于文化教学的运用。作者以所任教学校及贵阳市几所中学作为研究对象,通过对在校师生开展相关问卷的调查和分析,了解了当前高中英语课堂的文化教学现状,调查结果表明大部分教师都意识到了文化教学的重要性,但由于高中课时限制,课业繁重,考试制度等原因,并未真正将其实施于高中英语课堂上,对语言知识本身的学习仍然是教学的主体,这种教学模式下教出的学生往往会出现交际障碍,不能真正将英语这门语言融会贯通。同时,本文作者将文化教学带入课堂,以高中实际课堂及自身教学实践作为研究理据,在新课改的背景下结合西部地区的英语教学现状进行研究探讨,进一步反映出单一语言教学模式所存在的弊端以及文化教学运用在课堂的必要性及可行性,希望给课改下的英语教学一些启示,促进文化意识在高中英语课堂中的渗透,提高学生的跨文化交际能力。
[Abstract]:As we all know, learning a language is inseparable from the understanding of its cultural background. Culture teaching is an inseparable part of language teaching. English teaching in the context of the new curriculum reform has always been a hot topic of discussion. It requires teachers to infiltrate the cultivation of students' cultural awareness in language teaching. Its purpose is to enable students to effectively communicate with each other while mastering the language. Instead of training vocabulary and grammar alone. At present, the common teaching mode of English classroom in senior high school is to cultivate students' language skills, to seek students' repetition and memory of language knowledge in inscription tactics, and to form students' mechanical language learning mode. Over time, it will restrict the cultivation and development of students' language ability. From the perspective of language, culture, the relationship between language and culture, and the teaching of language and culture, this paper uses a large number of literature as the theoretical basis for the study. This paper probes into the use of culture teaching in English classroom by senior high school teachers since the implementation of the new curriculum reform. The author takes the teaching schools and several middle schools in Guiyang as the research object, through the investigation and analysis to the teachers and students in the school to carry on the related questionnaire, has understood the present high school English classroom culture teaching present situation. The results show that most of the teachers are aware of the importance of cultural teaching, but due to the limitations of high school hours, the heavy workload, the examination system and other reasons, it has not really been put into practice in high school English classes. The study of language knowledge itself is still the main body of teaching. In this teaching mode, students often have communicative obstacles and can not really integrate English as a language. At the same time, the author introduces the culture teaching into the classroom, taking the actual classroom and his own teaching practice as the research motivation, under the background of the new curriculum reform, carries on the research discussion under the background of the new curriculum reform unifies the western area English teaching present situation to carry on the research discussion. It further reflects the disadvantages of the single language teaching model and the necessity and feasibility of the application of cultural teaching in the classroom. The author hopes to give some enlightenment to the English teaching under the curriculum reform and to promote the penetration of cultural consciousness in the English classroom in senior high school. Improve students' intercultural communicative competence.
