高中汉语英语学习者英语完形填空题表现与其英语阅读水平相关性的研究

【摘要】:本篇论文主要研究高中学生英语完形填空水平与阅读理解水平之间的相关性,并采用理论分析结合实践调查和实验研究的方法。以高中学生为实验对象进行研究,根据完形填空测试研究对完形填空有效性的影响因素的认识,严格控制完形填空测试材料的选择、文本难度、删除频率和长度等等。通过对高中学生的阅读理解成绩和完形填空的测试成绩进行多次的测量、分析和相关性的研究,笔者发现:1)学生的阅读理解水平和完形填空的成绩具有显著相关性。也就是说,学生阅读水平的好坏会影响其完形填空成绩,那么想要提高学生的完形填空成绩,就必须提高学生的阅读水平。2)学生完形填空成绩与语法成绩也显著相关。完形填空的水平不仅仅涉及学生阅读理解能力一个变量,还涉及学生语法水平。学生完形填空的成绩和阅读理解的成绩都受到了词汇量和理解水平的影响,因此提高学生的词汇量、培养猜测词意的能力、学会正确理解文章和教授理解技巧成了提高这两方面成绩的必要手段。在学生进行完形训练或者阅读理解时,有意的对这些能力进行培养,能促进另一方成绩的提高。本文研究完形填空成绩和阅读水平的相关性,一是为了切实得出完形填空水平涉及的英语相关能力,丰富已有的测试学的相关理论。二是对完形填空的教学方法提供实际而可用的依据,对教学效率的提高起到切实的促进作用。因此,本研究具有理论意义与实践价值。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly studies the correlation between English cloze filling level and reading comprehension level of senior high school students, and adopts the method of theoretical analysis combined with practical investigation and experimental research. Taking senior high school students as the experimental object, according to the understanding of the influencing factors of cloze filling effectiveness, the selection of cloze test materials, the difficulty of text, the frequency and length of deletion, and so on, are strictly controlled. Through many measurements, analysis and correlation studies on the reading comprehension scores of senior high school students and the test results of cloze filling, the author finds that: 1) there is a significant correlation between the reading comprehension level of high school students and the scores of cloze filling. That is to say, students' reading level will affect their cloze scores, so in order to improve students' cloze scores, we must improve students' reading level. 2) students' cloze scores are also significantly related to grammar scores. The level of cloze filling not only involves a variable of students' reading comprehension, but also involves students' grammar level. The scores of cloze filling and reading comprehension are affected by vocabulary and comprehension level, so the students' vocabulary is improved and the ability to guess the meaning of words is cultivated. Learning to correctly understand articles and teaching comprehension skills has become a necessary means to improve these two aspects of performance. When students carry out cloze training or reading comprehension, intentionally cultivating these abilities can promote the improvement of the performance of the other party. This paper studies the correlation between cloze filling achievement and reading level. The first is to obtain the English related ability involved in cloze blank filling level and enrich the relevant theories of existing testing. Second, it provides a practical and available basis for the teaching method of cloze filling, and plays a practical role in promoting the improvement of teaching efficiency. Therefore, this study has theoretical significance and practical value.
