微视频对高中生英语词汇学习的影响

  本研究旨在探究微视频对高中生英语词汇学习的影响。词汇,语言三要素之一,是学语言的最基本的材料。正如著名语言学家威尔金斯(1972)所说:“没有语法,人们可以表达的事物寥寥无几,而一旦没有词汇,人们则根本无法表达任何事物。”近年很少有涉及微视频用于高中生英语词汇学习的研究,相关的实证研究也极少。因此,本研究不仅在理论上丰富了这方面的研究,同时在实践上为英语教师提供了相关的教学指导。基于认知负荷理论和输入假说,本研究提出以下研究问题:(1)微视频对高中生英语词汇学习有什么影响?(2)高中生对微视频持有什么态度?实验采用了定性和定量相结合的方法,持续大约两个月。在定量研究中,受试来自两个平行班的100名学生,研究工具包括一次前测和两次后测,教学材料为《牛津高中英语》和微视频,实验班学生利用微视频进行目标词汇学习,所有受试均参加及时和延时后测,测试数据由研究者及其同事进行收集和分析。在定性研究中,访谈对象为实验班的六名学生,通过半结构化的问题以了解他们对微视频词汇学习方法的态度,访谈在教师办公室进行。本研究有两个主要的发现:其一,虽然微视频对高中生的及时词汇记忆没有明显的作用,但其对高中生的延...
