包容性卓越:丹佛大学的当代质量建设研究

【摘要】:在全球生态化浪潮的冲擎和推涌下,高等教育的质量理念与行动正在发生着深刻的生态性变化:既要适应日益扩大的全球生态激烈竞争对高精尖人才的需要,又要满足全球生态多样化要求的各种质量规格标准,正是这种与以往追求绝对优秀的精英教育不同的包容性卓越质量建设,让丹佛大学成为当代引人注目的成功转型代表,也自然而然地进入我们的研究视野。本文以美国丹佛大学为个案,运用教育社会生态研究范式、国别专题研究框架和比较法与文献法,对丹佛大学的包容性卓越质量目标和建设理念与实践进行了聚焦式研究。论文共分为六个部分,导论部分分别介绍了本文选题的背景、意义、研究现状、内容梗概和方法,突出了全球生态化发展对包容性卓越质量的要求及其方法论价值和应用;第一章探讨了包容性卓越质量的基本理念,揭示了包容性卓越质量的时代内涵和理论基础;第二章简要梳理了丹佛大学包容性卓越质量建设的基本轨迹和发展阶段,反映出丹佛大学紧密追踪时代发展的要求而力争和实现包容性卓越质量的执着与努力;第三章系统考察了丹佛大学包容性卓越质量建设的现实形态,典型地刻画出丹佛大学紧密追踪和制定包容性卓越质量建设的目标、激发和组织全员建设主体、创新和丰富包容性卓越质量建设内容、创造和开发包容性卓越质量建设条件、与创立和运用包容性卓越质量建设方式等实践行动;第四章对丹佛大学包容性卓越质量建设的成效、特点与可能存在的问题给予了客观中肯的肯定、概括与揭示;最后一章在简明梳理和集中指出中国高等教育名校质量建设存在教条化、绝对化、形式化问题的基础上,借鉴美国丹佛大学包容性卓越质量建设的理念与实践经验,提出了相应对策建议:重视人的培养,促进课程、教学、科研发展的多样性以及涵养我国高校的文化底蕴。
[Abstract]:With the development of the global ecological tide, the quality concept and action of higher education are undergoing profound ecological changes: it is necessary to adapt to the needs of highly qualified personnel in the expanding global ecological fierce competition. And to meet the various quality specifications required for global ecological diversity, it is this inclusive and excellent quality building, which is different from the past elite education that has sought absolute excellence, making the University of Denver a representative of the successful transformation of our time, Also naturally enter our research field of vision. Taking the University of Denver as a case study, this paper focuses on the inclusive excellence quality goal and construction idea and practice of the University of Denver by using the educational social ecological research paradigm, the framework of country-specific thematic research and the comparative method and literature method. The paper is divided into six parts. The introduction introduces the background, significance, research status, content outline and methods of this paper, and highlights the requirements of global ecological development for inclusive excellence quality and its methodological value and application. The first chapter discusses the basic concept of inclusive excellence quality, reveals the era connotation and theoretical basis of inclusive excellence quality, and the second chapter briefly combs the basic track and development stage of inclusive excellence quality construction in Denver University. It reflects the persistence and effort of the University of Denver to strive for and achieve inclusive excellence quality by closely following the development of the times. Chapter three systematically examines the reality of the construction of inclusive excellence quality in the University of Denver. Typically, the University of Denver closely tracks and formulates the goal of building inclusive excellence, motivates and organizes the main body of inclusive excellence, innovates and enriches the content of inclusive excellence, and creates and develops the conditions for inclusive excellence. The fourth chapter gives objective confirmation, summary and revelation of the effect, characteristics and possible problems of the inclusive excellent quality construction of the University of Denver. In the last chapter, the author points out that there are dogmatic, absolute and formalized problems in the quality construction of famous higher education in China, and draw lessons from the idea and practical experience of the inclusive and excellent quality construction of the University of Denver in the United States. The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: attaching importance to the cultivation of human beings, promoting the diversity of curriculum, teaching and scientific research development, and preserving the cultural background of Chinese universities and colleges.
