美国大学海外分校全球扩张历史和战略研究

【摘要】：本文根据美国跨境教育研究小组和英国无边界高等教育观察组织的统计数据,分析研究了美国大学海外分校在全球的扩张历史和战略,试图揭示和解释在不同的历史时期和地区,美国大学海外分校呈现的不同兴趣倾向和扩张重点,从中可以清晰地看到,美国大学海外分校的建立不可避免地裹挟着美国国家的战略部署意图和意识形态的输出,但全球竞争、经济利益和国家安全仍然是美国大学建立海外分校的最直接驱动力。
[Abstract]:Based on the statistical data of the US Cross-border Education Research Group and the UK Border Free higher Education Watch, this paper analyzes the global expansion history and strategy of American University overseas campuses. Trying to reveal and explain the different trends of interest and expansion focus in different historical periods and regions, which can be clearly seen in the overseas campuses of the United States. The establishment of American University overseas Branch inevitably contains the export of American national strategic deployment intention and ideology, but global competition, economic interests and national security are still the most direct driving force for American universities to establish overseas campuses.
