从文化价值观透视中美母亲对子女影响

【摘要】:母亲,世界上最美丽的称呼;母爱,世界上最伟大的情感。儿童对母亲的依恋是一种天然感应,这种感应是父亲及其他家庭成员所不能具备的,这是大自然赋予女性的特质,因此母职是女性的天职。女性的生命特质决定了她对子女产生的重大影响。母亲作为孩子的第一任教师,是孩子命运的缔造者,她对于孩子成长的重要性是任何人不可替代的。孩子是一个民族的未来,因此母亲的教养方式直接影响孩子的发展乃至整个民族的发展。 文化的核心——文化价值观是指渗透于整个文化所共有的价值观念,在各文化之间具有普遍性和差异性。文化价值观决定着母亲的教养方式。基于跨文化交际学的视角,不同文化价值观影响下的中美母亲对子女的影响各具特色。中美两国作为世界上两个举足轻重的大国是东西方文化的代表,若能增强彼此文化价值观的理解定会促使异质文化取长补短,交汇融合,受益匪浅,这正是人们研究跨文化的价值所在;若能启发人们理解中美母亲对子女影响的差异性,相互学习优秀的理念进而促进民族乃至世界的发展,这正是研究跨文化的意义所在。 本文以Hofstede的文化价值观理论为依托,采用最直观的并列比较方式分析中美母亲对子女的影响。揭示了个人主义/集体主义作为Hofstede文化价值观理论五个维度之一是形成中美母亲不同教养方式的根本原因。强调了母亲素质教育的重要性以及加强跨文化研究的重要性。全文共分为六部分。 第一部分为绪论,介绍本文的研究背景,目的,意义,及研究方法。第二部分主要通过依恋理论更好地理解母亲在儿童发展中的先天优越性及不可替代性。提出孩子是民族发展的希望,而母亲作为孩子的第一任教师对其影响是至关重要的。第三部分描述不同文化背景下中美母亲在培养孩子过程中的特点,并揭示他们对孩子所产生的影响。第四部分是本文的重点。首先介绍Hofstede的文化价值观理论及其五个维度。其次以Hofstede的文化价值观理论为依据揭示了中美两国的文化价值观。最后分析了影响中美母亲培养子女方式差异的根本原因——中国的集体主义和美国的个人主义。第五部分提出了本文的启示及不足。一方面要加强对母亲的教育,另一方面要发展跨文化学习来吸收先进的教育观念。第六部分是对文章的总结,并呼吁社会理解,尊重,重视母亲。
[Abstract]:Mother, the most beautiful name in the world; maternal love, the greatest emotion in the world.The attachment of children to their mother is a natural feeling which the father and other family members cannot possess. This is the nature of nature, so motherhood is the duty of women.A woman's quality of life determines her great influence on her children.The mother, as the first teacher of the child, is the creator of the child's destiny, and her importance to the child's growth is irreplaceable.Children are the future of a nation, so the mother's upbringing directly affects the development of children and even the development of the whole nation.Cultural values, the core of culture, refer to the values shared by the whole culture, which are universal and different among different cultures.Cultural values determine the mother's rearing style.Based on the perspective of intercultural communication, the influence of Chinese and American mothers on their children under the influence of different cultural values has its own characteristics.China and the United States, two of the most important countries in the world, are representatives of the cultures of the East and the West. A better understanding of each other's cultural values will certainly help the heterogeneous cultures to learn from each other's strengths and to merge and benefit greatly.This is precisely the value of cross-cultural research. If we can enlighten people to understand the differences between Chinese and American mothers' influence on their children, learn from each other's excellent ideas and promote the development of nations and even the world, this is precisely the significance of studying cross-culture.Based on Hofstede's theory of cultural values, this paper analyzes the influence of Chinese and American mothers on their children by the most intuitionistic parallel comparison.It is revealed that individualism / collectivism as one of the five dimensions of Hofstede's cultural values theory is the fundamental reason for the different rearing styles of Chinese and American mothers.The importance of quality education for mothers and the importance of strengthening cross-cultural research are emphasized.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction, which introduces the research background, purpose, significance and research methods.The second part mainly through attachment theory to better understand the mother's innate superiority and irreplaceable in the development of children.Children are the hope of national development, and the mother as the first teacher of children is of great importance.The third part describes the characteristics of Chinese and American mothers in the process of raising their children in different cultural backgrounds and reveals their influence on their children.The fourth part is the focus of this paper.First, it introduces Hofstede's theory of cultural values and its five dimensions.Secondly, on the basis of Hofstede's theory of cultural values, it reveals the cultural values of China and the United States.Finally, the author analyzes the fundamental causes of the differences in the way Chinese and American mothers train their children-the collectivism in China and the individualism in the United States.The fifth part puts forward the enlightenment and deficiency of this paper.On the one hand, we should strengthen the education of mothers, on the other hand, we should develop cross-cultural learning to absorb advanced educational concepts.The sixth part is a summary of the article, and calls for social understanding, respect and attention to mothers.
