试论加拿大原住民寄宿制学校制度的生与亡

【摘要】：按照文化特征,加拿大民族可以分为三类人群。第一类人群为原住民,第二类人群由英、法两大宗主国的民族组成的多数民族,第三类人群为后来的移民。在加拿大建国的历史上,这三类人群的相继接触与交往,使原本自然发展的土著文化发生了巨大的变迁。本文在加拿大历史发展与文化变迁的脉络中,梳理加拿大原住民寄宿制学校自产生到消亡的历史发展过程,评价这种学校教育制度对原住民文化产生的不良影响和对原住民子女造成的身心伤害。
[Abstract]:According to the cultural characteristics, the Canadian nation can be divided into three groups. The first group consists of aborigines, the second group consists of the majority of the two sovereign nations of Britain and France, and the third group is the later immigrants. In the history of the founding of Canada, the contact and communication of these three groups of people made the aboriginal culture, which had originally developed naturally, changed greatly. In the context of Canada's historical development and cultural change, this paper combs the historical development process of Canadian aboriginal boarding schools from their emergence to extinction. Evaluate the negative impact of this school system on Aboriginal culture and physical and mental harm to Aboriginal children.
