自然拼读法对改进三年级学生英语语音变异型拼写错误的有效性研究

【摘要】：小学生步入三年级后,随着每周英语课时增加,英语书写作业也增加,由此学生拼写错误多、拼写能力不足的问题明显的暴露出来。学生拼写能力不足,不仅直接影响到他们的成绩,也直接影响他们学习英语的信心和对英语的兴趣。因此,如何提高学生的拼写能力成为一个急需讨论的问题。笔者认为,提高学生拼写能力需要一个好的方法,而西方盛行的自然拼读法为我们提供了一个很好的思路。自然拼读法是一套基于英语字母音形对应关系的独立教学系统,盛行于20世纪90年代,现在在英语国家广为应用。它能有效训练学生的语音意识,帮助学生掌握英语拼读拼写规则,进而提高拼读、拼写和阅读能力。经文献研究,笔者发现,学生大部分的拼写错误都存在着语音变异现象,若能减少学生语音变异型拼写错误,将有效提高学生的拼写能力。因此,本研究希望通过实验了解语音变异型拼写错误在三年级学生拼写错误中所占的大概比例,探讨学生为什么会犯语音变异型拼写错误,以及探究自然拼读法是否能有效减少学生的语音变异型拼写错误,并进而提高学生的拼写能力。本实验主要采用教学实验对比和调查问卷法,以上海求知小学三年级两个班的73个学生为实验对象,一个班为控制班,另一班为实验班。实验前,对两个班进行听写测试和问卷调查,了解两个班的拼写水平和对拼写的态度等。实验期间,以《安妮花自然拼读法》及其配套的绘本故事为教材,实验班每周进行长达半小时的自然拼读法教学,并配合绘本故事学习。控制班只选用其绘本故事为教材,每周进行半小时的阅读教学。2个月后,笔者再进行听写后测和调查问卷后测。运用SPSS(19.0)对测试结果进行T检验,对调查问卷进行数据统计并做详细的分析。实验结果表明:1、语音变异型拼写错误在三年级学生拼写错误中大概占60%。2、语音变异型拼写错误主要是由于学生缺乏语音意识,缺乏必要的拼写知识,母语的负迁移,相似项的语音干扰,忽略弱读音节等。3、自然拼读法能有效减少三年级学生语音变异型拼写错误,并进一步提升拼写能力。
[Abstract]:After the pupils step into the third grade, with the increase of weekly English class time, the homework of English book writing also increases, so the problem of students spelling mistakes and spelling ability is exposed obviously. Students' poor spelling ability affects not only their achievements, but also their confidence and interest in English learning. Therefore, how to improve students'spelling ability has become an urgent issue to be discussed. The author thinks that it needs a good method to improve students' spelling ability, and the natural spelling method prevailing in the West provides us with a good way of thinking. Natural spelling is an independent teaching system based on the correspondence of English alphabet and phonetic form, which prevailed in the 1990s and is now widely used in English-speaking countries. It can effectively train students' phonological awareness and help them master spelling rules of English spelling, and then improve their spelling, spelling and reading ability. Through literature research, the author finds that most spelling errors of students have phonetic variation phenomenon, if they can reduce the spelling errors of students' phonetic variant, it will effectively improve the spelling ability of students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the proportion of phonetic variant spelling errors in the third grade students, and to explore why students make phonetic variant spelling mistakes. And whether natural spelling can effectively reduce students' spelling errors and improve students' spelling ability. This experiment mainly adopts the teaching experiment contrast and the questionnaire method, takes 73 students of two classes in the third grade of Shanghai seeking knowledge primary school as the experimental object, one class is the control class, the other class is the experimental class. Before the experiment, dictation test and questionnaire survey were conducted to find out the spelling level and attitude of the two classes. During the experiment, taking Anne Hua's natural spelling method and its supporting picture book story as the teaching material, the experimental class carries on the natural spelling method teaching for up to half an hour every week, and cooperates with the picture book story study. The control class only chooses its picture book story as the teaching material, and carries on the reading teaching for half an hour every week. 2 months later, the author carries on the dictation posttest and the questionnaire posttest. Using SPSS (19.0) to test the test results, the questionnaire data statistics and detailed analysis. The result of the experiment shows that the spelling error of phonetic variant is about 60.2 in the third grade students. The main reason for the spelling error is the lack of phonological awareness, the lack of necessary spelling knowledge, and the negative transfer of mother tongue. The natural spelling method can effectively reduce phonetic variant spelling errors and further improve spelling ability of the third grade students.
