为什么是学位设立之争而不是学位名称之争——“工士”学位之争的回顾与反思

【摘要】：2014年6月,湖北职业技术学院试水为毕业生授予"工士"学位,由此引发出一场持续半年之久的"工士"学位之争。然而,这场声势浩大的大讨论仅是关乎设立专科学位制度的意义和价值的争论,却规避了"工士"学位这一学位名称是否得当的问题。在国家明确了研究和建立符合职业教育特点的学位制度的政策之后,为专科高职设立专门学位已是大势所趋,真正要讨论的正是如这一学位名称如何确定的更为细节性和操作层面的问题。而我国有关专科高职的学位名称如何定名并没有达成学界共识,当前有三条选择路径:一是引进和改造西方的"副学士学位";二是再次论证"工士"学位的可行性;三是创生新的学位名称,如"专士"学位。
[Abstract]:In June 2014, Hubei Vocational and Technical College awarded graduates a degree in "engineering", which led to a half-year debate about "engineering degree". However, this huge debate is only about the significance and value of setting up a specialist degree system, and avoids the question of whether the title of the degree is appropriate. After the government has made clear the policy of studying and establishing a degree system that accords with the characteristics of vocational education, it is the trend of the times to set up a special degree for higher vocational education. What is really going to be discussed is the more detailed and operational aspects of how this degree name is determined. However, there is no consensus on how to name the degree in higher vocational colleges in our country. At present, there are three ways to choose: one is to introduce and transform the "associate degree" in the West, the other is to demonstrate the feasibility of the "engineering degree" again. Third, the creation of a new degree name, such as the "specialist" degree.
