基于SCP范式的中国寿险业研究

【摘要】:自中国1982年恢复国内寿险业务以来,国内寿险市场一直由中国人民保险公司独家垄断,产险与寿险统一经营。1991年以后,国内寿险市场逐渐引入竞争机制,市场结构由完全垄断逐渐向寡头垄断进而向垄断竞争转变,市场集中度逐渐降低。2001年中国加入世贸组织后,中国寿险业的对外开放程度逐渐加深,越来越多的国外寿险公司以外资或中外合资的方式进入中国市场。如今国内寿险公司已超过60家,,其中外资和中外合资公司超过40%,市场竞争越来越激烈。 由于市场竞争的加剧,寿险产品的市场定价越来越低,寿险业市场产品数量和种类不断增多,分红险、投连险、万能险等新险种不断被市场接受。人们的需求的变化急需寿险产品的不断创新来满足,产品创新成为当前寿险企业面临的一大难题。而市场竞争的加剧大大提高了寿险企业的运营成本,一些创新能力不强的寿险公司逐渐被市场淘汰。而运营成本的提高和市场价格的降低直接导致寿险企业的利润减少,市场绩效随之降低。 根据传统产业组织理论,市场结构会在短期内对市场行为产生影响,进而影响市场绩效,而在长期内,三者之间是相互影响以达到长期均衡的。那么,对于我国的寿险业市场结构的变化,市场行为有什么样的反应?对市场绩效有何影响?对此,本文运用产业组织理论的相关知识,结合我国寿险业的实际情况,重点针对入市十年来的变化情况展开研究。通过对我国寿险业的市场结构、市场行为和市场绩效进行分析,并对三者之间的作用关系进行探讨,并与国外成熟的寿险市场进行比较,以期提出适合中国寿险业发展的合理政策建议。
[Abstract]:Since China resumed its domestic life insurance business in 1982, the domestic life insurance market has been monopolized exclusively by the people's Insurance Company of China, and the property insurance and life insurance are operated in a unified manner. After 1991, the domestic life insurance market gradually introduced a competitive mechanism. The market structure has gradually changed from complete monopoly to oligopoly and then to monopoly competition, and the degree of market concentration has gradually decreased. After China's accession to the WTO in 2001, the degree of opening up of China's life insurance industry has gradually deepened. More and more foreign life insurance companies enter the Chinese market in the form of foreign capital or joint venture. Today, there are more than 60 domestic life insurance companies, of which more than 40 foreign and Sino-foreign joint ventures, the market competition is becoming more and more fierce. As the market competition intensifies, the market price of life insurance products is getting lower and lower. The number and variety of life insurance products in the market are increasing, and new types of insurance, such as dividend insurance, universal insurance and so on, are continuously accepted by the market. The change of people's demand urgently needs the life insurance product innovation unceasingly to satisfy, the product innovation becomes the present life insurance enterprise to face a big difficult problem. However, the intensified market competition has greatly increased the operating costs of life insurance enterprises, and some life insurance companies with weak innovation ability are gradually eliminated by the market. The increase of operating cost and the decrease of market price directly lead to the decrease of profit of life insurance enterprise and the decrease of market performance. According to the traditional industrial organization theory, the market structure will influence the market behavior in the short term and then affect the market performance. In the long run, the three factors affect each other in order to achieve long-term equilibrium. So, what kind of reaction does the market behavior have to the change of the market structure of our country's life insurance industry? What is the impact on market performance? Based on the knowledge of industrial organization theory and the actual situation of China's life insurance industry, this paper focuses on the changes of the market in the past ten years. This paper analyzes the market structure, market behavior and market performance of life insurance industry in China, and discusses the relationship between them, and compares them with the mature life insurance market abroad. In order to put forward a reasonable policy recommendations suitable for the development of life insurance industry in China.
