中泰汽车产业内贸易及影响因素研究

【摘要】:汽车制造长期以来被当成是振兴民族工业的象征,近50年来,中国与泰国的汽车贸易有了长足的发展,在两国政府大力发展汽车产业的背景下,两国汽车产业同时存在着贸易与竞争的关系,中泰汽车及零部件贸易属于产业内贸易理论的范畴。本文利用统计数据及计量模型来探讨两国汽车产业贸易情况及影响因素,更进一步的分析两国在汽车零部件双边贸易中的比较优势和竞争力。本研究的主要发现有四点,第一,透过产业内贸易指数分析后发现中泰两国的汽车零部件产业内贸易很发达且稳定。第二,以市场份额来看,中国的汽车零部件产品在国际市场上比泰国具有更强的竞争力;以贸易竞争力来看,两国该产品在国际市场上竞争优势同样较弱;以显示性比较优势来看,中国该产品只有中等贸易竞争力,而泰国对该产品具有较强的国际竞争优势。第三,中国汽车产业劣势在于政府质量把关不严格、市场竞争制度有缺陷;泰国汽车产业劣势在于熟练工人短缺及缺乏自有品牌。第四,人均收入水平与中泰汽车产业内贸易指数成反比,而市场规模与中泰汽车产业内贸易指数呈正相关,但相对影响较小。基于以上结论,给出中方的政策建议是:持续完善汽车产业市场竞争制度、加快大型骨干企业进行资本结构调整并落实管理创新;给泰方的政策建议是掌握新技术以及改善政治环境。
[Abstract]:Automobile manufacturing has long been regarded as a symbol of revitalizing the national industry. In the past 50 years, the auto trade between China and Thailand has made considerable progress. Under the background of the two governments vigorously developing the automobile industry, There is a relationship between trade and competition in the automobile industry of the two countries, and Sino-Thai auto and parts trade belongs to the theory of intra-industry trade. This paper makes use of statistical data and econometric model to discuss the trade situation and influencing factors of automobile industry between the two countries, and to further analyze the comparative advantages and competitiveness of the two countries in the bilateral trade of automobile parts and components. The main findings of this study are as follows: first, through the analysis of intra-industry trade index, it is found that the intra-industry trade between China and Thailand is very developed and stable. Second, in terms of market share, China's auto parts products have stronger competitiveness than Thailand's in the international market, and in terms of trade competitiveness, the two countries' competitive advantage in the international market is also weak. In terms of comparative advantage, China has only moderate trade competitiveness, while Thailand has a strong international competitive advantage over the product. Third, the disadvantage of China's automobile industry is that the government's quality control is not strict, and the market competition system is defective, while Thailand's automobile industry has a shortage of skilled workers and a lack of its own brand. Fourth, the level of per capita income is inversely proportional to the Intra-industry Trade Index, while the market size is positively correlated with the Intra-industry Trade Index, but the relative impact is relatively small. Based on the above conclusions, the policy suggestions of China are as follows: continuously perfecting the market competition system of automobile industry, speeding up the capital structure adjustment of large backbone enterprises and implementing management innovation; The policy advice to Thailand is to master new technologies and improve the political environment.
