【摘要】：本文翻译材料选自山西省高新区官方网站,原文为中文,译入语为英文,主要从地理位置、基础设施、支柱产业、发展规划等方面介绍。高新区的蓬勃发展有利于促进本地区的经济增长,在区域经济发展中发挥辐射和带动作用。在本次翻译实践的过程中,作者在充分理解原文的基础上,选取部分材料进行翻译。本文主要分析其词法特征和句法特征,以及在翻译过程中遇到的翻译难点类型及方法,难点包括中国特色词汇的翻译、无主句的翻译和长难句的翻译,并就难点问题提出相应的翻译方法,本章中主要的翻译方法有:转句译法、减译法、增译法、语态转换法、换序译法和断句译法。最后总结出译者在翻译的过程中需仔细推敲原语在文中的含义及其内涵和外延。这样译出的译文才忠实,有说服力。尽管译文存在不足之处,作者仍通过此次翻译实践获益良多,并找到了未来所努力的方向。希望本论文对其他翻译学习者提供一些帮助。
