外商直接投资与上市公司职工劳动收入份额:趁火打劫抑或锦上添花

【摘要】：基于宏观数据的研究表明,外商直接投资可能降低或提升劳动收入份额,本文试图利用微观数据解决这类结论上的矛盾。微观数据研究可解决数据平滑群体差异的局限,且能区分劳动者异质性和企业异质性,因此,微观证据具有独特价值。本文基于2007—2014年中国沪深两市A股上市公司数据,利用职工收入份额作为劳动收入份额的微观衡量,探讨外商直接投资对上市公司劳动收入份额的影响。研究发现外商直接投资整体上增加了职工收入份额,且存在正向溢出效应。区分外商投资动机后发现,水平型外商直接投资对职工收入份额具有促进作用,而垂直型外商直接投资对职工收入份额促进作用消失。区分外商控制程度发现,外商的高控制权强化了外商直接投资对职工收入份额的促进作用。影响机制分析发现,外商直接投资通过技术进步即增加公司专利数量和全要素生产率进而提高了职工收入份额。本文的发现提供了外商直接投资对稀缺劳动力收入份额具有积极影响的微观证据,有助于丰富劳动收入份额的文献。
[Abstract]:The research shows that based on macro data, foreign direct investment may increase or decrease the share of labor income, this paper attempts to solve the contradiction of this kind of conclusion use micro data. Micro data research can solve the data smoothing group differences of limitations, and can distinguish between worker heterogeneity and heterogeneity of enterprises, therefore, microscopic evidence has the unique value. The 2007 2014 - China Shanghai and Shenzhen two A shares of listed companies based on the data, using the income of workers share as the microcosmic measure of labor income share, explore the impact of foreign direct investment of Listed Companies in the labor income share. The study found that foreign direct investment in the overall increase in the income of workers share, and there are positive spillover effects. Distinguish between investment motives that the level of foreign direct investment has positive effect on workers' income share, while the vertical type of foreign direct investment on the income of workers share promotion Effect disappeared. Distinguish foreign control degree, high control to strengthen the foreign foreign direct investment on the income of workers share promotion. The influence mechanism analysis shows that foreign direct investment through technological progress is to increase the company's patent number and total factor productivity and increase the income of workers share. This discovery provides microscopic evidence of foreign direct investment has a positive impact on the scarcity of labor income share, help to enrich the labor income share of the literature.
