十字路口交通组织分析和优化

【摘要】:The rapid development of all types of transport,transport communications and the increase in the number of vehicles in Ukraine in general and in Kiev in particular lead to traffic organization problems and as a result to a high level of traffic accidents.This paper focuses on the existing problems of one of the most problematic intersections in Kiev Roman Shuhevich boulevard.Based on the received data on the intensity and composition of traffic and pedestrian flows in Roman Shuhevich boulevard,taking into account the data on road accidents,there was concluded that this road section does not provide for the transmission of the existing transport stream.The primary objectives of the present investigation were to explore the whole area of Roman Shuhevich boulevard,to identify the main difficulties in the area and to solve the traffic organization problems such as traffic delays and jams with increasing the level of traffic safety in the area.In order to improve traffic organization on the existing area,the following steps were made: creation of a 3D model of the intersection,calculations of an intermediate signal and of accurate flow density of the road section,determination of the cycle time,identification of phase calculations of particular direction,and determination of the green signal time.Thus,3D model of the intersection helped to reproduce the intersection and to perceive more clearly the existing problems.Calculations were conducted in order to reduce the level of transport delays at traffic lights and to diminish the number of unnecessary stoppages in the course of traffic.Determination of the cycle time and the green signal time were used to find a duration of the control cycle under given driving conditions in order to provide the minimum value of the average car delay at the intersection.In the present paper necessary measures to improve the organization of road traffic at the intersection were presented.Thereby,such strategies as setting two-phase and pedestrian traffic lights,installation of informative-indicative signs of route orientation and drawing of appropriate marking,using priority signs,changing the average speed of traffic on the hauls between intersections,reduction in the queue lengths of the red signals of traffic lights and minimum of possible interruptions in traffic,will be useful to solve the traffic organization problems and to increase the traffic safety in Roman Shuhevich boulevard.
