善与恶的搏斗——扬克列维奇论宽恕

【摘要】:法国哲学家扬克列维奇对宽恕似乎有两种相互矛盾的立场。他在《我们应该宽恕他们吗?》一文中指出,宽恕在纳粹屠杀的集中营里已经死亡,对这种极端恶的宽恕是不可能的。而在之后的著作《宽恕》中,他又认为,纯粹的宽恕就是要宽恕不可宽恕的,真正的宽恕是一次打破常规的事件,是不求回报的礼物。于是,宽恕极端恶的不可能与宽恕不可宽恕的可能之间产生了分裂与矛盾,宽恕即是在极端善与极端恶两极之间的搏斗。而扬克列维奇与一位德国年轻人的交往实践又表明了走出这种矛盾的现实可能性。
[Abstract]:The French philosopher Jan Kleevich seems to have two conflicting positions on forgiveness. He pointed out in "should we forgive them?" that forgiveness, which had died in the concentration camps of the Nazi massacre, was impossible. In his later book, forgiveness, he argues that pure forgiveness is to forgive the unforgivable, that true forgiveness is an unconventional event, a gift of unrequited return. Therefore, there is a division and contradiction between the impossible to forgive the extreme evil and the possibility to forgive the inexcusable. Forgiveness is the struggle between the extreme good and the extreme evil. And Jankelevich's contact with a German young man shows that it is possible to get out of this contradiction.
