[Abstract]:It's January 27th. Nguyen Phu Trong, 72, was officially elected by the 12th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) to be re-elected as General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee. Nguyen Phu Trong was born in Dongying County, Hanoi City, Vietnam, 1944. 1963 to 1967. He studied language and literature at Hanoi Polytechnic University. From 1991 to 1996, Nguyen Phu Trong was editor-in-chief of Communist magazine. From August 1996 to February 1998, he served as deputy secretary of Hanoi Municipal Party Committee. From February 1998 to January 2000, he was in charge of ideological, cultural, scientific and educational work in the Communist Party of Vietnam. From January 2000 to June 2006, he was secretary of Hanoi Municipal Party Committee. From June 2006 to July 2011, served as secretary of the party group of Congress, chairman of Congress, national defense
