[Abstract]:American society has a perfect mechanism to encourage innovation. It encourages difference and independent thinking. The "American dream" that it creates is also desirable. This is the rational part of American civilization. And that's why its soft power is so appealing to other countries and people. Yet people see a strange international political and cultural phenomenon: it was an important aspect of American soft power, or at the wrong time. The wrong places have been misused, or run counter to the local culture, but they may also have the opposite effect, resulting in cultural conflicts and anti-Americanism. In September 11th 2012, a new wave of anti-Americanism was launched. It was 11 weeks after the September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
