【摘要】：近几年，社区基金会面临的诸多外在影响力  激烈的竞争，人口结构变化，公众的高度期望，商业和互联网的经营思维以及领域间的结构变化  正推动社区基金会进入一个新时代。然而长久以来，美国的社区基金会一直在以社区为核心和以捐赠人为核心的两种社区基金会模式间徘徊。两种模式下的传统角色“社区领导人”和“资金管理人”的定位已不再适应新时代的需要，美国社区基金会急需根据新时代的特点，重新认识和定位自己的角色，以谋取更好的发展。 本文回顾了美国社区基金会的发展史，在角色理论框架下，深入探讨了两种运作模式下社区基金会所扮演角色，指出了两种传统角色的不足。结合新时代的特点及社区基金会在新时代下所面临的形势，论证了角色转变的必要性。此外，论文基于对当前美国社区基金会内外因素的分析，提出了新模式下的新角色定位  “聚合领导人”。最后，该论文总结了该“聚合”角色的特性和主旨，并为新时期下传统角色向新角色的转换提供了可行性建议。
