【摘要】：正1.地名有大小大连市政府前的广场,原来叫斯大林广场,那是1993年以前的事情了。广场上原有一座苏军烈士纪念塔,由于在1999年4月被迁至旅顺苏军烈士陵园,人民广场要改回原名已不可能。据悉,大连人民广场始建于1924年,由当时的统治者日本人建成,曾名长者广场、财富广场,1946年被新政府接管后更名为政府广场。老地名到底该不该改,新地名要不要改回去,这种争论已有多年。笔者

The original memorial tower of the Soviet Martyrs in the square was moved to the Soviet Martyrs Cemetery in Lushun in April 1999, so it is impossible for the people's Square to change its name back to its original name. It is reported that Dalian people's Square was built in 1924 by the Japanese rulers at that time, once famous elder square, fortune square, was taken over by the new government in 1946 renamed the government square.
