[Abstract]:On June 26, 2017, the Dunhuang Research Institute announced the establishment of the Buddhist Research Center and the unveiling ceremony at Mogao Grottoes. Wang Xudong, president of Dunhuang Institute, Vice President of the World Buddhist Federation, Master Faibao, founder of Mukyu Project, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. The establishment of the Buddhist Research Center is an important measure for the Dunhuang Research Institute to further expand the Dunhuang study, strengthen the Dunhuang Buddhist culture research, promote the national development strategy of "Belt and Road" and the construction of the Chinese civilization heritage area in Gansu Province. Wang Xudong, dean of the Dunhuang Research Institute, said: "I sincerely hope that the Buddhist Research Center can build a bridge between Dunhuang and the world.
