返魂香与伏虎兽:从罗马到汉朝——《海内十洲记》所记西胡月支国朝贡事发微

【摘要】：汉武帝一生好四处巡幸,曾到过安定和回中一带多达十余次,并于汉征和三年(前90年)在安定接见西胡月氏国使者,接受了返魂香与伏虎兽等神奇礼物。这些贡品产自遥远的地中海和西亚地区的罗马帝国,是月氏人通过丝绸之路长途贩运到中土的。这也反映了自张骞通西域之后,古代丝绸之路已经成为东西方物种传播与文明互动的重要通道。
[Abstract]:Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty made a good tour around his life. He visited the area of Diazing and Huizhong as many as ten times, and in the Han Dynasty and three years ago (90 years ago) received the emissaries of Xi Hu Yue's country and received magical gifts such as the return of spirit incense and the Volcano beast. The tribute originated from the Roman Empire in the distant Mediterranean and Western Asia and was trafficked to the Middle Kingdom by the Yueh-Shih people along the Silk Road. This also reflects that the ancient Silk Road has become an important channel for the communication of species between East and West and the interaction of civilization since Zhang Qian's travel to the West.
