明清时期的苏州会馆研究

【摘要】：关于会馆的定义,历来有两种观点:一种认为会馆是工商业的行会,一种认为会馆是一种同乡组织,这两种观点的根本分歧源于对会馆性质的不同认识。本文试图抛开这种绝对的对会馆性质的探讨,深入明清时期的苏州,以当时的工商业碑刻为资料,以历史的、商业的观点来剖析明清时期的苏州会馆资料。试图从明清时期苏州会馆的演进、苏州会馆的性质、苏州会馆的组织运作、苏州会馆的社会功能和苏州会馆与地域文化等内容来分析,证明了苏州会馆在商人和政府中间起到联系和纽带的作用,成为明清政府的有益补充,在当时的苏州社会中不可替代。 本文共分四部分:第一部分,从历时性角度考察苏州会馆的演进状态,从共时性角度考察苏州会馆的分布特点,得出明清时期苏州会馆的基本状况。第二部分,分别分析苏州会馆与行会,以及苏州会馆与公所的区别与联系,进而解答苏州会馆的性质。第三部分,从会馆建筑、会馆组成成分、会馆经费来源、会馆的日常管理等方面来探讨苏州会馆的组织运作。第四部分,从联络乡情、教化熏陶乡人、乡人互助等方面来考察苏州会馆的功能。第五部分,通过分析神灵崇拜这种文化现象,解释会馆与地域文化的关系。第六部分,通过对苏州会馆碑刻资料的分析,得出苏州会馆成为明清政府的有益补充,成为商人和政府之间的纽带。
[Abstract]:There have always been two views on the definition of clubhouse: one is that it is the trade association of industry and commerce, the other is that the hall is a kind of homecoming organization. The fundamental differences between the two views stem from the different understanding of the nature of the guild hall. This paper attempts to put aside this kind of absolute discussion on the nature of the clubhouse, go deep into Suzhou in the Ming and Qing dynasties, take the industrial and commercial stele as the data, and analyze the Suzhou Hall data in the Ming and Qing dynasties from the historical and commercial point of view. This paper attempts to analyze the evolution of Suzhou Hall during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the nature of Suzhou Hall, the organization and operation of Suzhou Hall, the social function of Suzhou Hall and the regional culture of Suzhou Hall, etc. It is proved that Suzhou clubhouse plays an important role as a link between businessmen and government, and becomes a useful supplement to the Ming and Qing governments, which is irreplaceable in the Suzhou society at that time. This paper is divided into four parts: the first part, from the diachronic point of view of the evolution of Suzhou Hall, from the synchronic perspective of Suzhou Hall distribution characteristics, the Ming and Qing dynasties Suzhou Hall of the basic situation. In the second part, the author analyzes the difference and connection between Suzhou Hall and guild, and then explains the nature of Suzhou Hall. The third part discusses the organization and operation of Suzhou Hall from the aspects of the building of the Hall, the composition of the Hall, the source of funds and the day-to-day management of the Hall. In the fourth part, the function of Suzhou Hall is investigated from the aspects of contact with the countryside, edification of the fumigated pottery townspeople and mutual aid among the townspeople. The fifth part, by analyzing the cultural phenomenon of worship of gods, explains the relationship between guild hall and regional culture. In the sixth part, through the analysis of the inscription data of Suzhou Hall, it is concluded that Suzhou Hall has become a useful supplement to the Ming and Qing governments and a link between businessmen and governments.
