【摘要】：本文是汪荣祖教授对《主术训:中国古代政治思想研究》(The Art of Rulership:A Study in Ancient Chinese Political Thought)一书所作的书评。该书由夏威夷大学出版社(University of Hawaii Press)于1983年出版,全书共有277页,作者是安乐哲(Roger T.Ames)。1995年,北京大学出版社出版了该书的中译本,译者是滕复,滕复将书名译为《主术:中国古代政治艺术之研究》。本文是汪荣祖教授在弗吉尼亚理工学院暨州立大学(Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University)担任教授时所写。文章肯定了安乐哲对《淮南子·主术训》的贡献,也指出该书分析方法的局限和对历史背景关注的不充分,并对《淮南子》的研究工作提出了建议。
[Abstract]:This is a review by Professor Wang Rongzu of the Art of Rulership:A Study in Ancient Chinese Political thought. The book was published in 1983 by the University of Hawaii Press, the University of Hawaii Press, and has a total of 277 pages. The writer is Roger T. Ames.On 1995, Peking University Press published a Chinese translation of the book, which is translated by Teng Fu. Teng Fu translated the title of the book: the study of Ancient Chinese political Art. This article was written by Professor Wang Rongzu when he was a professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University at Virginia Polytechnic and State University. The contribution of Nanzi. It also points out the limitations of the book's analytical methods and its insufficient attention to historical background, and puts forward some suggestions for the research of Huainan Zi.
