定量与定性之辩:美国政治学研究方法的融合趋势

【摘要】：自20世纪80年代以来,国内社会科学诸学科经历恢复与重建,与西方学界的交流、互动日渐频繁。在新一轮西学东渐的大潮中,西方学界所推崇的定量分析法渐次为国内政治学界所接纳。当下学界重定量贬定性,扬量化抑质化,大有不可遏止之势。本文基于对过去30年来美国政治学界围绕方法论的论辩,客观呈现定量与定性研究方法的优劣,探讨当前方法论中定量定性研究的融合趋势,冀希国内学者审慎面对定量研究。
[Abstract]:Since the 1980's, the subjects of social science in China have experienced rehabilitation and reconstruction, and the interaction between them has become more and more frequent. In the new tide of western learning spreading eastward, the quantitative analysis method respected by western scholars was accepted gradually by domestic political circles. At present, the academic circles emphasize quantitative derogation and increase quantification and depress quality, which has an irresistible tendency. Based on the debate on methodology in American political circles in the past 30 years, this paper presents objectively the advantages and disadvantages of quantitative and qualitative research methods, and probes into the fusion trend of quantitative and qualitative research in current methodology.
