【摘要】： 哈林顿在过去一直是倍受冷遇的人物,直到19世纪突起的马克思主义给了哈林顿突如其来的名声,他的产权均势决定国家性质的论述被马克思主义者奉为历史唯物主义的先声。20世纪中叶兴起的共和修正主义力图将哈林顿从这种阶级理论家的印象中解救出来,斯金纳重新挖掘了哈林顿身上与马基雅维里一脉相承的对古典共和式自由的热爱,波考克甚至将哈林顿视为在共和主义传统的传承中起承上启下作用的重要人物,他是“英国最杰出的人文主义者,马基雅维里在17世纪的传人”。但片面地强调哈林顿身上的共和主义元素,这与19世纪的马克思主义者一样,都忽略了哈林顿政治思想本身所具有的复杂性。事实上,哈林顿站在一个十分特殊的各种思想传统交汇的十字路口,他从亚里士多德和西塞罗的古典共和主义中吸取了对共和政治实践的理解和对政治经验的重要性的认识;他从马基雅维里身上接受了对共和国进行阶层分析的方法,继受了马基雅维里史诗式的历史主义情结;他从霍布斯的著作中得到了创立一门新政治科学的灵感和追求政治稳定性的方法。本文试立足于《大洋国》独特的写作背景和《大洋国》文本本身,重新梳理哈林顿的政治思想,并在此基础之上分析哈林顿与马基雅维里和霍布斯之间的思想勾连,以期展示哈林顿的政治思想所具有独特性和复杂性。
[Abstract]:Harrington was a cold potato in the past, until the rise of Marxism in the 19th century gave Harrington a sudden reputation. His discussion of the nature of the state determined by the balance of property rights was regarded by Marxists as the forerunner of historical materialism. Republican revisionism, which emerged in the middle of the 20th century, sought to free Harrington from the impression of this class theorist. Skinner rediscovered Harrington's love of classical Republican freedom, similar to Machiavelli's, and Pokok even saw Harrington as an important link in the tradition of republicanism. He was "Britain's most outstanding humanist, Machiavelli's successor in the 17th century." But the one-sided emphasis on the Republican elements of Harrington, like the 19th century Marxists, ignores the complexity of Harrington's political thought itself. In fact, Harrington stood at a very special crossroads between various ideological traditions. He drew from Aristotle and Cicero's classical republicanism his understanding of Republican political practice and the importance of political experience. From Machiavelli, he accepted the method of analyzing the class of the Republic, followed by the historical complex of Machiavelli's poetic style. He drew inspiration from Hobbes's book for the creation of a new political science and a way to pursue political stability. Based on the unique writing background of Oceania and the text itself of Oceania, this paper tries to rearrange Harrington's political thoughts, and on this basis, analyzes the ideological links between Harrington and Machiavelli and Hobbes. In order to show the uniqueness and complexity of Harrington's political thought.
