潮流内外:老舍、闻一多与“五四”

【摘要】:老舍和闻一多在青年时代都生活于北京并适逢"五四",但"五四"留给二人的感受和身心印痕却并不相同。二人都是在五四新文化的潮流中从旧学走向新知,但是在五四学生运动中,却因身处潮流内外,产生了较大的差异。闻一多因亲身参加学生运动而激发了爱国心和叛逆精神,老舍则以旁观者的心态写出了学生运动的混乱与血腥。后来的重述"五四"也因对应着各不同的政治语境而产生了不同的指向。20世纪40年代的"五四"成为闻一多反抗专制复古、呼吁民主的大旗,50年代的"五四"则成为老舍检讨、改造自我的一种方式。二者的"五四情怀"都应深入到具体的历史语境和个人生存的境遇中给予理解之同情。
[Abstract]:Lao She and Wen Yiduo both lived in Beijing in their youth and coincided with the May 4th Movement, but the feelings and physical and mental impressions of the May fourth Movement were not the same. Both of them moved from old learning to new knowledge in the trend of May 4th New Culture, but in the May fourth Movement, there was a great difference between them because they were inside and outside the trend. Wen Yiduo has inspired patriotism and rebellious spirit by taking part in student movement, while Lao She has written the chaos and blood of student movement with the mind of bystander. The later restatement of the May fourth Movement, which corresponded to different political contexts, produced different directions. The May fourth Movement in the 1940s became Wen Yiduo's resistance to autocratic reversion, and the May fourth Movement, which called for democracy, became the Lao She review in the 1950s. A way to transform yourself. Both "May fourth feelings" should be understood and sympathized in the specific historical context and personal existence.
