历代状元知多少

【摘要】：正也许有人要说:考过多少次就有多少个状元。虽然大体上是可以这样说,但具体考察起来,其实不是那么简单。比如说唐代,有考了不算数的,也有考是考了,但是没有产生状元的;元代一榜出两个状元;金代则一榜时而出一个状元,时而出两个状元,时而出三个状元。所以,我们得分朝代进行具体统计。隋代,虽然首创科举取士之法,也开有进士科,但每次取人极少,在笔者所能见到的史籍中, 尚未见有排名次的记载,故不计。唐代,据《文献通考·选举考》及《登科记考》等书记载,共举行科举考试265次。其中,有一次因考题泄密而作废,剩下的264次是否每次都产生了状元呢?
