古代皇帝谥号漫谈

【摘要】：正古代皇帝在位时乾纲独断,皇帝死后,按照惯例要给他上"谥号",而谥号有好有坏,给予的标准是他生前的功业德行。谥号是中国非常古老的制度,殷商时期似乎就有,如太甲等。可以十分确定的是周朝,周文王、周武王,《尚书》里就那么记载。但是谥号也一度中断,就是秦始皇统一天下之后,认为"子议父、臣议君"不成体统,因而下令废除这个传统,改行"始皇帝、二世皇帝、三世等等以至万世"的制度,幸好秦朝二世而亡,要不然恐怕今天会是
[Abstract]:At the time of the emperor's reign, the emperor was independent, and after the death of the emperor, he was given a "posthumous title" in accordance with the usual practice. The title of the title was good and bad, and the standard was his career. The title number was a very old system in China. The Shang Dynasty seemed to be in the period of the Shang Dynasty, such as the Zhou Dynasty, King Zhou Wen, Zhou Wu Wang, and Shang Shu. But once the title was interrupted, after the unification of the world, Qin Shihuang thought that the "son of the father and the king of the emperor" were not established.
