儒家“内圣外王”及其现代价值

【摘要】：儒家学说博大精深,但其基本精神可归结为“内圣外王之道”。在中国两千年的封建社会中,儒家“内圣外王之道”作为一种人格理想和社会政治理想,是历代封建统治者和士大夫阶层企求的目标,成为历代儒家讨论的中心议题和学术宗旨所在。随着西方文化的猛烈冲击和中国封建制度的解体,儒家“内圣外王之道”被“五四”以来的反传统主义者视作腐朽的封建意识形态,受到无情批判。然而仍有相当一部分人继续为复兴和发展儒家这一根本精神而努力。它在当今社会里究竟是仅供人观赏的“木乃伊”,还是仍可散发活力的“活的生命”?在我们看来,只有先弄清儒家”内圣外王之道”的具体内涵及其发展线索,才能更好地判定它对当代社会及21世纪有无积极借鉴或指
[Abstract]:The Confucian theory is broad and profound, but its basic spirit can be summed up as "the way of the inner and the foreign king". In the feudal society of China in 2000, as a kind of personality ideal and social and political ideal, the Confucian "the way of the Inner Saints and the external Kings" was the goal of the feudal rulers and the literati and bureaucrats in the past dynasties. It has become the central topic and academic aim of Confucianism. With the fierce impact of western culture and the disintegration of Chinese feudal system, the Confucian "the way of Internal, Holy and external Kings" has been regarded as a decadent feudal ideology by anti-traditionalists since the May 4th Movement, and has been mercilessly criticized. However, a considerable number of people continue to work for the revival and development of the fundamental spirit of Confucianism. In today's society, is it just a "mummy" for people to watch, or is it still a "living life" that still radiates vitality? In our opinion, only by making clear the concrete connotation and the development clue of Confucian's "the way of the inside and the outside" can we better judge whether it has positive reference or reference to the contemporary society and the 21st century.
