【摘要】：正本刊讯香港佛教联合会会长、中华佛教文化院院长觉光长老于2014年11月16日清晨4时51分舍报示寂,世寿95岁,僧腊83载。山河失色,草木含悲。觉光长老的圆寂,是中国佛教界之巨大损失,也是佛教弘化事业之损失。觉光长老德行高峻,志愿宏深,一生践行"不为自己求安乐,但愿众生得离苦"之大乘菩萨精神,舍身为法,心怀众生,将其全部身心奉献于弘扬佛
[Abstract]:The chairman of the Hong Kong Buddhist Federation and head of the Chinese Buddhist Culture Institute, Kyaw Kwong, gave up the news at 04:51 on November 16, 2014. He was 95 years old and a monk for 83 years.The mountains and rivers are discolored, and the trees and grass are sad.Chueh-kuang 's silence is a great loss to the Buddhist community in China, and also to the cause of Buddhism.Chueh-kuang elders of high virtue, voluntary deep, life practice of "do not seek happiness for themselves, hope that all living from suffering" Mahayana Bodhisattva spirit, sacrifice for the Dharma, heart and soul, dedicated to the full body and mind to carry forward the Buddha.
