In the early Tang Dynasty, a large number of high-ranking monks represented by Xuanzang entered Shu, which established the central position of Bashu Buddhism. The relevant records of Xuanzang during the period of Shu contained interactive information on the exchange of Buddhist culture on the Silk Road. In Tang Dynasty, five Bashu monks who went to Southeast Asia from the Maritime Silk Road to seek law in South Asia showed the appearance of Bashu Buddhist monks in large numbers.
