中非喀麦隆西部Bangangté地区火山岩的岩石学、地球化学及岩石成因研究

  Bangangté地区玄武质熔岩,位于喀麦隆火山岩带中部的西喀麦隆高地(Bambouto,Bamenda and Oku山)的Bameleke高原内。研究区地理范围为东经10°19’00"-10°49’00",北纬 4°00’00"-5°35’00",平均海拔1400m。其北部为Bambouto山,Bamenda山和Oku 山,西南部为Manengouba 山,西部为Bana和Mbo平原。本文运用代表性样品的新的主量元素、微量元素和稀土元素地球化学以及地质年代学数据区分了 Bangangté地区的两个岩浆系列:碱性系列和过渡性系列。碱性系列在露头上主要包括火山岩和碧玄岩、玄武岩、夏威夷岩及橄榄粗安岩,而亚碱性系列(或过渡性系列)在露头上分布有限,只由玄武岩组成。这些碱性和过渡性系列的熔岩侵位于新生代(36.67-8.89 Ma),分为明显的两期火山活动:第一期发生于约37 Ma,为玄武岩侵位,代表了过渡性系列;第二期发生于约15-9 Ma,为碧玄岩、玄武岩、夏威夷岩及橄榄粗安岩侵位,代表了碱性系列。主量元素和微量元素组成表明,这些熔岩从基性岩石演化为分异程度较高的岩石,期间发生了橄榄石...
