词块法在英语专业词汇教学中的效用性研究

【摘要】：对于英语学习者,尤其是英语专业的学习者而言,词汇是一切学习活动的基础,只有将词汇基础打扎实之后才能够进行有效的后续学习。《高等学校英语专业教学大纲》对英语专业学生的词汇量及其掌握程度都作出了具体的要求。然而在英语专业的实际教学过程中,词汇教学往往被教师所忽视,大部分的词汇都是在一些课程讲解过程中顺带进行的。本研究作者对英语专业的词汇教学进行了分析,提出了将词块法应用于词汇教学中,并用实证研究来验证词块法是否能够提高高等学校英语专业学生的词汇能力以及学生对词块法的态度。实验对象是中国东部某大学英语专业的64名大一新生,他们被分成实验班以及对照班。在为期十周的实证研究中,实验班采用词块法进行教学,而对照班则使用传统的词汇教学方法。实验前测和后测用来对比两种教学方法的教学效果,作者还通过实验前后调查和半结构化面谈的方式来调查学生对这两种词汇教学法的态度。对搜集到的数据用定性和定量相结合的方法进行了对比分析研究,结果显示:1).较传统词汇教学法而言,词块法能够更有效的提高学生的语言学习能力;2).词块法能够提高学生学习词汇的兴趣和自信。
[Abstract]:For English learners, especially English learners, vocabulary is the foundation of all learning activities, only after the words play a solid foundation to be able to effectively follow. Higher school teaching syllabus for English Majors "on English Majors' vocabulary and master degree have made specific requirements. However, in the actual teaching the process of professional English, vocabulary teaching is often ignored by teachers, most of the words are incidentally in some courses in the process of this study. The vocabulary teaching for English majors are analyzed, put forward the application of lexical chunk approach to vocabulary teaching, and use empirical research to verify the lexical approach whether can improve the vocabulary ability of English Majors in higher schools and students on the lexical approach attitude. The experimental object is Chinese East University English majors, 64 large new Students, they were divided into the experimental class and the control class. In the empirical study lasted for ten weeks, the experimental class used lexical teaching method, while the control class using traditional vocabulary teaching methods. Experimental pre-test and post test was used to compare two kinds of teaching methods of teaching effect, the author also through experimental investigation and half before and after structured interviews to investigate students' attitudes toward the two vocabulary teaching method. The analysis method of comparative data collected by qualitative and quantitative results showed that: 1). Compared with the traditional vocabulary teaching method, lexical approach can more effectively improve the students' language learning ability; 2). The lexical approach can improve students' interest in learning vocabulary and confidence.
