三十年代夏衍电影管理思想研究

【摘要】：夏衍是我国著名的戏剧家、剧作家、评论家、电影事业家与文艺理论家。他于1927年加入中国共产党、1932年步入电影界，作为中共上海文化方面的主要负责人，他组织了和领导了具有划时代意义的左翼电影运动。1949年起他开始担任国家文化方面的领导人，主管电影和外事工作。他是中国电影发展的实践者与见证人，为中国电影事业做出了重大贡献，在中国电影史上有着特殊的地位。 新时期以来，学术界日益拓展关于夏衍的研究领域，新作不断出版。这些著作大致可分为生平研究与综合研究两大部分，可内容仍大多侧重于人物传记层面或文学、戏剧与电影剧本写作等艺术创作层面，缺乏关于夏衍在组织和领导电影活动、倡导电影风潮、促进电影发展等管理层面的专门性论述与思考，显得还不够全面。基于此，本文追本溯源，立足于夏衍电影管理思想的生成发轫之时，并结合二十世纪三十年代复杂的时空背景，，佐以其个人特质与身份转换的关键，分析其管理思想的生成基础和条件，从而进一步重点论述其电影管理思想的主要内涵，并力图通过总结分析其早期电影管理思想的特点和局限性，揭示出其思想对于建国后各个时期电影建设的影响，并最终厘清其电影管理思想的历史价值和研究意义，也期待带给读者对于夏衍作为一名电影活动组织者和领导者的别样思考。 本文分为六个部分。绪论分析了夏衍研究的历史成果与现状，并扼要叙述了其电影活动与管理思想的由来，以及本文研究的目的和意义。第一章从上世纪二三十年代的政治、经济、文化等诸方面的时空背景的分析开始，指出夏衍的电影管理思想并不是孤立形成与发展起来的，而是与当时的历史条件和其个人特质紧密相关的。第二章详细论述了夏衍电影管理思想的主要内容，指出他以“电影服务于人民大众”为工作核心，引领和推动了“现实主义”电影风潮；有效地对电影的商业性和革命性因素进行调和；组织和建立了电影舆论阵地，创作和翻译了许多经典的电影剧本和理论书籍；同时，他还积极促进与民族资本家、进步导演与演员的团结与合作，不断向电影界输送各类新型人才，帮助与扶持年轻的电影工作者；创立进步电影公司，重视电影技术的发展，从各个方面建立起左翼电影话语权。第三章则系统总结分析出夏衍电影管理思想的三个主要特点  鲜明的革命斗争性、突出的时代倾向性和有效的商业实践性，指出其管理思想所带有的鲜明的政党特征、时代特征和实践特点；同时对其无法回避的时代局限性也进行了较为详细地阐述。由于夏衍在中国电影史上的三个重要阶段  即左翼电影运动时期、“十七年电影”时期以及改革开放以来电影发展的新时期都担任过一定的领导职务，所以其电影管理思想对上述三个时期的中国电影都产生过一定的影响，并带来一些新的启示，本文第四章对此做了分析和思考。 作为我国电影事业杰出的领导人，夏衍为中国电影身体力行、鞠躬尽瘁，其在电影组织和管理方面所做出的贡献值得我们深入地加以总结和研究。虽然由于时代的原因，他的电影管理思想也带有明显的局限性，但是它对于我们今天的电影管理活动依然具有极其重要的现实意义和启迪作用。
