自我的迷失与发现:《死亡诗社》中的成长悖论

【摘要】：成长的过程是一个理想自我认同向本真自我回归的过程,期间充满悖论,是一个自我迷失与自我发现的双重过程。如何平衡二者之间的关系也是人文教育探讨的主题。电影《死亡诗社》以成长叙事与诗意画面探索了这一问题。威尔顿学院的传统教育使得学生自我蒙蔽甚至完全迷失,直到基廷老师带来的诗性教育得以引导他们契入一个自我发现、自我回归的过程。而影片对于如何解决传统势力与诗性革新之间的冲突并没有给出明确的答复,片尾中觉醒而绝望的学生尼尔之自杀事件,引发了观众的沉思。
[Abstract]:The process of growing up is a process of return from ideal self-identity to true self, which is full of paradoxes and is a dual process of self-loss and self-discovery. How to balance the relationship between the two is also the theme of humanistic education. The film Dead Poems Society explores this problem with the narrative of growth and poetic images. Wilton College's traditional education made students blind and even completely lost until the poetic education brought by teacher Keating led them into a process of self-discovery and self-return. However, there is no clear answer on how to resolve the conflict between traditional forces and poetic innovation. The suicide of Neal, an awakened and desperate student at the end of the film, has aroused the audience's contemplation.
