二十一世纪好莱坞科幻电影叙事研究

【摘要】:本文第一部分,对科幻电影的概念、历史流变即当下发展概括做出梳理,简要概括了21世纪好莱坞科幻电影的题材分类和主要类型,并追溯了二十一世纪科幻电影的研究现状,明确了本文研究目的和研究价值,阐明本文主要运用叙事研究和类型研究的研究方法,并广泛结合多种研究方法对二十一世纪的科幻电影进行文本读解和文化分析。 本文第二部分,围绕着人与周围的五大关系,具体分析了二十一世纪好莱坞科幻电影叙事主题与审美特征,其中,在人与社会的关系上,21世纪好莱坞的科幻片受到后工业社会文明的助推,在思想领域受到后现代主义的影响,体现为一种后现代工业文明的童话和焦虑;在人与自我的关系上,它既蕴含着人类对自我的投射,又有对“后人类主义”对人类中心主义的反思;在人与自然的关系上,它呈现出生态批评对自然的关注,用生态破坏带来的末日意象向人类发出环境的警示;在人与科技的关系上,它为科技发展欢呼的同时,也反思科技可能带来的负面影响,电影在表现先进的电脑虚拟人的同时,亦表达了对虚拟人的焦虑与担忧;在人与“他者”的关系上,它用奇异的想象和绚丽的视觉呈现出包括外星人、变异人等在内的不同于人类的异类,也展望了人类的未来世界,即包括了乌托邦和反乌托邦/恶托邦/敌托邦在内的社会发展形态。 本文第三部分,引用了经典叙事、现代叙事、后现代叙事的概念,重点分析了21世纪好莱坞科幻片叙事模式的不同形态及其嬗变。具体来说,21世纪好莱坞的科幻片,大部分沿用类型电影的经典叙事惯例,有特定的背景设置、故事结构和情节线索,也遵循着一定的人物谱系及类型元素。而作为类型“热潮更替”的产物,在经典的科幻电影叙事模式之外,21世纪好莱坞的科幻片的叙事模式又有了新的变化与演进。其中,有一部分采取现代叙事的科幻电影,其现代性主要体现在现代语境下时空交叉的复调叙事,以及平行宇宙中的多时空线索交织并进等。 本文第四部分,集中围绕虚拟现实与数字美学两方面对好莱坞科幻电影的审美特征进行了阐述。具体而言,随着科技进步和社会变革、文化变异,电影艺术不断发展,电影制作者们不断尝试用个性化的方式,颠覆和打破传统好莱坞电影所建立的各种模式,不断开拓新的美学和叙事空间。作为后工业文化时代的产物,二十一世纪的好莱坞科幻电影有不少作品体现出了科技助推下的后现代叙事尝试,它们以拟象空间中的虚实相生来探求真实与虚幻的关系,同时更具有了“影像(效果)叙事”与后现代游戏化、碎片化叙事的新特征。同时,科学技术让电影从内容叙事更多转向了视觉、场景叙事,营造了一个个视听奇观,也赋予了数字美学特有的互动性、开放性、多向度性和自由性等,使创作者有了更多自由处理空间和情感表达空间,使电影书写获得了一种真正的自由,也给观影者一种独特的审美感受。
[Abstract]:In the first part of this paper, the concept of science fiction movies, historical changes that the current development of a general comb, a brief summary of the 21st century Hollywood science fiction movies and the main types of themes, and traces back to the 21st century science fiction movies research status quo, clear the purpose of this study and research value, clarify the main use of narrative research in this paper. And the type of research methods, and a wide range of research methods combined with the 21st century science fiction film text interpretation and cultural analysis.
In the second part of this paper, focusing on the five relationships between people and their surroundings, the narrative themes and aesthetic characteristics of Hollywood science fiction films in the 21st century are analyzed concretely. Among them, in the relationship between people and society, Hollywood science fiction films in the 21st century are promoted by the civilization of post-industrial society and influenced by post-modernism in the ideological field. The fairy tales and anxieties of the post-modern industrial civilization; in the relationship between man and himself, it contains not only man's self-projection, but also the reflection of "post-anthropocentrism" on anthropocentrism; in the relationship between man and nature, it presents the concern of ecological criticism on nature, and sends a ring to mankind with the image of doomsday brought by ecological destruction. On the relationship between man and technology, it cheers for the development of science and technology, but also reflects on the possible negative impact of technology. The film also expresses anxiety and worry about the virtual human while expressing the advanced computer virtual human. On the relationship between man and the "other", it presents a package with fantastic imagination and gorgeous vision. Aliens, mutants, etc. are different from human beings. They also look forward to the future world of human beings, including utopian and anti-utopian / dystopian / dystopian social development patterns.
In the third part, the author quotes the concepts of classical narrative, modern narrative and post-modern narrative, and analyzes the different forms and evolution of Hollywood's science fiction narrative mode in the 21st century. As a product of the "upsurge replacement", the narrative mode of Hollywood's science fiction films in the 21st century has undergone new changes and evolution besides the classical narrative mode of science fiction movies. The polyphonic narratives of space-time crossing in modern context and the multi temporal and spatial clues in parallel universe.
The fourth part of this paper focuses on the two aspects of virtual reality and Digital Aesthetics to elaborate the aesthetic characteristics of Hollywood science fiction movies. As a product of the post-industrial culture era, many Hollywood science fiction movies in the 21st century embody the post-modern narrative attempt promoted by science and technology. They seek the relationship between reality and illusion by the combination of the illusion and reality in the imagery space. At the same time, science and technology make the film turn from content narrative to vision, scene narrative, create a variety of audio-visual wonders, but also give the unique interaction of digital aesthetics, openness, multi-dimensionality and freedom, so that creators have more freedom to deal with. Space and emotional expression space, so that the film writing to obtain a real freedom, but also to the viewer a unique aesthetic feeling.
