电影版音乐剧《悲惨世界》舞美与音乐研究

【摘要】：2017年的歌舞电影《爱乐之城》在第89届奥斯卡金像奖上大放异彩,这部电影的成功,将歌舞片这种历史悠久的电影类型又拉回到了观众眼前。近几年全球的电影市场里,以音乐为题材并取得成功的电影数量寥寥无几,非要细数的话,其中最能令人印象深刻的非2012年的《悲惨世界》莫属。这部改编自同名英文版音乐剧的电影,在当年的奥斯卡上也是取得了不俗的成绩。相比传统的舞台音乐剧,电影化的音乐剧版本在扩大受众群体、提升商业价值等方面都具有更大的优势。《悲惨世界》是19世纪法国浪漫主义作家维克多·雨果的长篇小说,展现了19世纪法国数十年的社会波澜和人间百态。至今已被改编成近20部影视作品,其中最为著名就是由阿兰·鲍伯利作词,克劳德-米歇尔·勋伯格作曲的音乐剧。这部史诗型音乐剧是对原著小说最成功的改编艺术形式,最近一次的呈现便是2012年由英国导演汤姆·霍珀执导的同名电影。电影《悲惨世界》承袭了音乐剧的音乐特色,每个主要人物都有特点鲜明的主题音乐,那么在这种音乐模式特点下,电影的舞美创作该如何配合来实现塑造人物、叙述剧情与抒发情感?笔者选取2012年版本的电影作为研究对象,在视频、图片资料的基础上主要运用文献研究法与个案研究法:首先梳理《悲惨世界》音乐剧舞台版和电影版的创作背景;接着分析研究电影版本在音乐与舞美创作上具有哪些特点,对舞台版有哪些继承,又做了什么改变;最后从舞美的各个要素出发,结合主要角色唱段进行分析,对电影的表现手法所呈现出的视听效果进行客观评述,探究影片是怎样将音乐语言与这些外在元素结合来实现刻画主题,塑造人物形象,渲染情感氛围,以此寻求舞美与音乐的协调合作关系。通过以上研究,探讨电影版本的音乐剧《悲惨世界》舞美设计上的优势与不足,以供未来舞台音乐剧改编为电影形式提供借鉴参考。
[Abstract]:The 2017 song and dance film "the City of Love" glowed at the 89th Academy Awards, and the success of the film brought back to the audience the long-standing film type of song and dance film. In recent years, there have been very few successful films in the global film market, the most impressive of which is the Les Miserables of 2012. The film, adapted from the English version of the musical of the same name, also achieved good results at the Oscars. Compared with the traditional stage musicals, the film-based musical version has greater advantages in expanding the audience and enhancing the commercial value. Miserable World is the novel of the 19th century French romantic writer Viktor Hugo. It shows the social waves and human demeanor of France in the 19 th century. So far, it has been adapted into nearly 20 film and television works, the most famous of which is the musical composed by Alan Bowbury and Claude Michelle Schumberg. The epic musical is the most successful adaptation of the original novel, the most recent of which was a 2012 film of the same name directed by British director Tom Hopper. The film Les Miserables inherits the musical characteristics of musicals, and each of the main characters has distinctive theme music. So, under the characteristics of this music mode, how to cooperate in the creation of dance beauty in the film to create characters. Narration of the plot and expression of emotion? The author selects the 2012 version of the film as the research object, on the basis of video and picture data, mainly uses the literature research method and the case study method: first, combs the creation background of the stage version and the film version of the Les Miserables musical; Then it analyzes and studies the characteristics of the film version in the creation of music and dance beauty, what inheritance to the stage version, and what changes have been made. Finally, starting from the various elements of dance beauty, combined with the analysis of the main characters, this paper makes an objective comment on the audio-visual effect of the film. This paper explores how the film combines music language with these external elements to depict the theme, shape the characters and render the emotional atmosphere, so as to seek the coordinated and cooperative relationship between dance beauty and music. Through the above research, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the film version of the musical "Les Miserables" dance beauty design, in order to provide reference for the future stage musical adaptation for the film form.
