中国石狮造型艺术的嬗变及其美学品格

【摘要】: 中国狮子文化肇始于汉代,至今已有两千余年的历史。随着狮子文化的产生、发展与成熟,狮子的艺术形象也早已成为中华民族独特的精神象征和文化符号,而其中以石狮造型艺术尤为突出。中国石狮艺术最初出现于汉代帝王、贵族官僚陵墓前神道两旁具有护卫的石刻群中,并由此传袭,经由魏晋南北朝、唐,至宋代以后渐入民间,使用也日趋广泛。此间,石狮艺术受思想观念、时代精神等多种因素的影响,造型不断发生变化,但是到了明清,石狮的造型开始稳定,并趋近程式化。石狮艺术经过长期的发展演变,除了呈现强烈的民间性以外,还有着不可替代的魅力及成熟的发展形态,其内容所体现的伦理、宗教、民俗意蕴美与所蕴含的线条、形制、动态的韵律美,构成了东方艺术独特的美学价值。面对喜闻乐见而又林林总总、蔚为大观的石狮艺术,作为总体性研究,从具有代表性的作品入手显得尤为重要。文章在对最具有代表性的石狮艺术形式作典型性研究的基础上,结合文献有关资料,着重考察了石狮造型艺术兴盛的动因、狮子在诸多灵兽中的地位问题,以及采用断代的形式梳理石狮艺术由汉代至明清整体样式的流变,以综合运用图像学(意义解读)、艺术风格学(形式分析)及文献学的方法通过考证、对比探讨其独特内涵和精神指向,揭示艺术形式形成的内在原因,总结归纳其凸显的时代精神和美学品格。
[Abstract]:Chinese lion culture began in the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than two thousand years. With the emergence, development and maturity of lion culture, the artistic image of lion has already become the unique spiritual symbol and cultural symbol of the Chinese nation, among which the stone lion plastic art is especially prominent. Chinese stone lion art first appeared in the Han Dynasty emperors, the aristocratic bureaucrats tomb in front of the Shinto with guards on both sides of the stone carvings, and this spread, through the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern dynasties, Tang, and after the Song Dynasty gradually into the folk, the use is becoming more and more widespread. The stone lion art was influenced by many factors, such as ideology, spirit of the times and so on. However, by the Ming and Qing dynasties, the stone lion's shape began to stabilize and became stylized. After a long period of development and evolution, the stone lion art not only presents a strong folk character, but also has irreplaceable charm and mature development form. Its contents embody ethics, religion, folklore meaning beauty and the lines contained therein. The dynamic beauty of rhythm constitutes the unique aesthetic value of oriental art. As a general study, it is very important to start with representative works in the face of the popular stone lion art. On the basis of the typical research on the most representative stone lion art form and the relevant documents, this paper focuses on the reasons for the prosperity of stone lion plastic arts and the status of the lion in many spirits and beasts. And combing the whole style of stone lion art from the Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing dynasties in the form of dynastic period, and making use of the methods of image science (meaning interpretation), artistic stylistics (form analysis) and philology, through textual research. This paper discusses its unique connotation and spiritual direction, reveals the internal causes of the formation of art form, and summarizes its prominent spirit of the times and aesthetic character.
