《牙雕佛像神韵与当代情怀》—“减法”创作

【摘要】:作为燕京八绝的牙雕工艺,经过上千年的发展,在工艺美术史上占据了不可代替的地位。传统牙雕佛像的神韵一直以来都是每个牙雕艺人所探索追求的感觉,这种感觉的呈现,一方面是创作者的创作手段与技法,另一方面是创作者的生活体会和审美修养。有艺术涵养的象牙雕刻者在创作佛像的时候,都会有意识地追求人物“形似”和“神似”的并存,继而产生一种让人难以言表的韵味。随着全球化的发展,当代的审美趋势冲击着中国的传统文化,尽管如此,人们对象牙佛像的传统韵味依然有增无减,对象牙雕刻的时代性也有了一些新的需求。本文介绍了传统牙雕佛像出现与发展,深入研究牙雕佛像神韵的体现,从佛人元素的用料,时代性和创作者等方面出发,寻找牙雕佛像神韵所在,概括总结出佛人神韵的体现主要是创作者所受到的时代影响、个人文化修养及工艺手段。通过对牙雕佛像神韵的深入研究,本人谈到了牙雕的“减法”创作形式,进一步阐释了牙雕佛像的神韵的表现形式与当代艺术形式的共性。通过本人的实践并总结,从思维观念和工艺技术两方面阐述了牙雕佛像神韵在当代陈设品中的应用,为当代象牙艺术发展一个新的方向。
[Abstract]:As Yanjing eight absolute tooth carving technology, after thousands of years of development, in the history of arts and crafts occupies an irreplaceable position. The charm of the traditional tooth carving Buddha is always the feeling that every tooth carving artist explores and pursues. On the one hand, the presentation of this feeling is the creative means and techniques of the creator, on the other hand, the creator's life experience and aesthetic accomplishment. The ivory sculptors with artistic cultivation will consciously pursue the coexistence of "likeness" and "god resemblance" in the creation of Buddha statues, and then produce an unspeakable charm. With the development of globalization, the contemporary aesthetic trend impacts on the traditional Chinese culture. However, the traditional flavor of ivory Buddha is still increasing, and there is also some new demand for the epoch of ivory sculpture. This paper introduces the appearance and development of the traditional tooth carving Buddha statue, deeply studies the embodiment of the tooth carving Buddha statue's verve, and from the aspects of the material, the times and the creator of the Buddha's elements, finds out where the tooth carving Buddha's rhyme lies. It is summarized that the embodiment of Buddha's charm is mainly influenced by the times, personal culture and craft means. Through the deep research on the verve of the tooth carving Buddha statue, I talk about the "subtraction" creative form of the tooth carving, and further explain the commonness between the expression form of the tooth carving Buddha statue and the contemporary art form. Through my practice and summary, this paper expounds the application of tooth carving Buddha statue in contemporary furnishings from the two aspects of thinking concept and technology, which is a new direction for the development of contemporary ivory art.
