论儒家传统与林语堂小说

【摘要】：与五四激进的反传统潮流不同,林语堂以辩证理性的态度以及非二元对立的价值取向对儒家传统做出评判。反映在小说里,具体表现为林语堂对儒家处世传统与人伦传统的继承以及对儒家人性传统的反拨。实际上,作为自由主义者的林语堂与儒家传统始终处于一种富于张力的关系之中,他在继承与发展之间找到平衡点,也因此释放了五四时期被压抑的"多重现代性"而带来了不同的文学景观。
[Abstract]:Different from the radical anti-tradition trend of the May 4th Movement, Lin Yutang judges the Confucian tradition with the attitude of dialectical reason and the value orientation of non-dualistic opposition. Reflected in the novel, Lin Yutang inherits the Confucian tradition of dealing with the world and the tradition of human relations, and retracts the Confucian tradition of human nature. In fact, as a liberal, Lin Yutang has always been in a tension with the Confucian tradition, he found a balance between inheritance and development. Therefore, the repressed "multi-modernity" during the May 4th period brought different literary landscape.
