生态翻译学视角下的《德伯家的苔丝》中译本对比研究

【摘要】：《德伯家的苔丝》是文学大家托马斯·哈代的环境和性格小说,深受中国读者的追捧和主流媒体的关注,国内有许多该小说的中文译本,对其译本的研究也很多,然而传统的翻译研究侧重对于文本语言本身的研究,而忽视了翻译环境作为一个有机整体对翻译过程的影响。胡庚申教授于2001年提出了生态翻译学,这一学说从一种崭新的角度对翻译进行解读,为本文的研究提供了理论基础。本文基于生态翻译学的理论框架,依托《德伯家的苔丝》的中文译本,对其理论中重点的翻译过程进行梳理和总结,研究对比张谷若和孙法理先生对该文学作品的翻译,在宏观上,分析对比译本的翻译生态环境,在微观上主要运用三维转化策略对两版中文翻译进行细致的解剖。运用生态翻译学对文学对比进行分析,对比两个中文译本在表现原作者的意图和再现原小说的艺术特征等方面的优缺点,进一步探讨了造成这种结果的原因,得出结论:译者基于不同的生态翻译环境,会进行不同的适应与选择,整合适应选择度会影响翻译的整体质量和读者接受度。本论文的研究为《德伯家的苔丝》这部作品的研究提供了一个较新的思路,同时也丰富了生态翻译学的理论阐释。
[Abstract]:Tess of the d'Urbervilles is the environment and character novel of Thomas Hardy, who is popular with Chinese readers and concerned by the mainstream media. In China, there are many Chinese versions of the novel, and there are many studies on its translation. However, traditional translation studies focus on the study of the text language itself, while ignoring the impact of the translation environment as an organic whole on the translation process. Professor Hu Gengshen put forward the theory of ecological translation in 2001. This theory interprets translation from a new angle and provides a theoretical basis for the study of this paper. Based on the theoretical framework of ecological translatology and the Chinese translation of Tess of the Decaux d'Urbervilles, this paper reviews and summarizes the key translation processes in his theory, and studies and compares the translation of the literary works by Zhang Guru and Sun Fali. On the macro level, the translation ecological environment of the two versions is analyzed and the three dimensional translation strategy is used to analyze the translation environment of the two versions. This paper makes an analysis of the literature contrast by using ecological translation, compares the advantages and disadvantages of the two Chinese versions in expressing the original author's intention and reproducing the artistic features of the original novel, and further discusses the reasons for this result. It is concluded that the translator will make different adaptation and choice based on different ecological translation environments, and the integration of adaptation selection will affect the overall quality of translation and reader acceptance. The study of this thesis provides a new idea for the study of Tess of the Decaux d'Urbervilles and enriches the theoretical interpretation of ecological translation.
