中韩水月观音图像比较研究

【摘要】：水月观音是中国佛教三十三观音之一，在佛教中是个隐喻化的象征。根据张彦远《历代名画记》的记录，传说水月观音图在唐代8世纪后期被宫廷画家周f 始创之后很快流行开来，并且关于周f 制作的水月观音，没有现存的作品，很难掌握其具体的样式，在经过唐末五代两宋元代的发展，水月观音图像在历代各有特点，画面元素丰富、绘画精湛。现存的中国水月观音的形式主要有壁画、卷轴画、纸卷画，木雕、石雕和金铜像等，分布的年代主要为五代、宋代和西夏等。高丽水月观音作品在高丽佛画中是重要的作品，现存的四十余幅作品是在高丽后期一百多年间集中制作的，在高丽160余幅佛画中所占比例很大，能推测到在高丽时期观音信仰相当流行，现作品大部分收藏在日本。高丽水月观音图的特点是在整体画面风格上表现了一种华丽的美和优秀的画趣，无论是在佛教领域还是在绘画领域，高丽水月观音图像都以其显著的特点占有重要的位置。现存的高丽水月观音作品都存在于海外，并且在韩国本土中很难搜集到更多关于中国水月观音图像文献记录以及图像资料，因此使得在韩国进行这方面的研究受到很大的限制。本文整理研究先前的研究成果的同时，找到了一些韩国研究中很难涉及或是很少得到重视的中国水月观音图像资料和文献记录，通过观察大量的中韩水月观音图像以及结合相关佛教经典，对于以往研究中没能给与足够重视的图像特征之间的比较这一方面，进行了再一次深入的观察研究，根据更多客观的分析，将高丽水月观音图和中国水月观音图的细节进行比较，对于两者类似的部分进行研究以推断其相互影响关系以及找到《华严经》中的相关依据。对于高丽水月观音图中出现的有别于中国的特征也进行深入的分析，同样在《华严经》中能够找到类似的依据。通过研究证明了高丽水月观音图在形成过程中，通过直接受到中国水月观音图像画面元素的影响，以及间接受到《华严经》的影响并且在其影响下经过相应的改变发展了高丽独特的特征。通过这样的研究阐明了中国水月观音图的独立性和研究价值，讨论了水月观音图在中韩两国佛教美术领域中的艺术价值和研究价值，以及其社会信仰的功能。在图像方面，高丽水月观音图在较多作品的构成元素上发现与《华严经》的影响较多，并且较多图像特征也在《三国遗事》“洛山二大圣观音争趣调信”中能够得到确认，而《三国遗事》与《华严经》有影响关系，并且通过比较分析观察到，高丽水月观音图像与宋代西夏的水月观音作品在整体风格和画面元素上都有很大的关联性，因此更进一步证明了高丽水月观音图受到中国水月观音以及《华严经》影响。但是高丽水月观音图又发展了具有高丽特色的特征。在本论文中，，主要以中韩两国水月观音图像的图像特征为主线，通过分析中韩两国水月观音图像的整体风格、画面元素、以及与《华严经》的关系，进一步探索了高丽水月观音图的渊源以及中韩两国水月观音图的关系。中韩两国的水月观音作品由于在历史、地理、政治、经济上的相互影响关系下，相互联系又各有特色，形成两国具有研究价值的重要佛教及绘画资料。
