【摘要】：也许很难准确重现维米尔是怎样绘画的，我们现在所知道的17世纪荷兰绘画的途径都是以所搜集来的当代传统绘画方法与现代现代科学分析的结果为依据的。即使基本的方法论偶尔会被概括出来，制作特殊的调色盘的技巧也会被给出，然而真正绘画的方法是像师傅教徒弟一样由老师亲自传教给作坊里有抱负的学徒门（通常4到6人）。很少有流传下来的有关工作室实践的历史记录。其中没有任何涉及维米尔的记载。维米尔不遗余力地用自己特殊技法来重新阐述自然，有迹象可以使我们大致肯定维米尔的画室还是用着古代北欧画家的传统方法，与我们现代相比，，当时画家用的颜色较少；作画的步骤分得更明显。画家们通常知道哪些颜色不能同时混用，他们依靠着限制性极强的方法来阐述更准确的自然，往往要分遍，却也产生了只可意会不可言传的和谐。
[Abstract]:It may be difficult to reproduce exactly how Vermeer paints. The way we now know Dutch painting in the 17th century is based on the collection of contemporary traditional painting methods and the results of modern scientific analysis. Even if the basic methodology is occasionally summed up, the skill of making a particular palette will be given. The real method of painting, however, is to teach to aspiring apprentices (usually four to six) in the workshop, as a master teaches a disciple. There are few historical records of studio practice that have survived. There was no record of Vermeer. Vermeer spared no effort to restate nature with his own special techniques. There are signs that we can roughly confirm that Vermeer's studio is still using the traditional methods of ancient Nordic painters. Compared with our modern times, the painters used less colors; The steps of painting are more obvious. Painters often know which colors can't be mixed together, relying on very restrictive methods to explain more accurate nature, often to be divided, but also to create unspeakable harmony.
